warrior37 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2008 Am I the only one who is missing the point of that post?"Reg is our coach."Paul Newman has passed away. Makes me pretty sad, but he had a legendary career. He was probably my favorite actor of all time, with my top Newman film's being: Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and you guessed it Slap Shot. Chadd 916 Report post Posted September 30, 2008 Paul Newman the man was even better than Paul Newman the actor. That's the part that deserves so much more attention. Not only was he a fantastic actor, up there with Bogart and the other greats, but his charitable work was amazing. You also have to respect the fact that he actually downplayed it instead of promoting how great he was.
