Supreme One95 Classic skates?

Recommended Posts

Thanks guys.

Man, those are sweet.

They look like a new version of my old Supreme Comp 5000.

They are only available in Europe??

Any way of getting them here? Any idea what the price tag is?

maybe all you guys can start an international hockey equipment pen-pals program. i am sure it would only subvert a few international trade laws.

Just out of curiosity, why do you guys love these skates so much? With all of the new technology with respect to weight and fit (heat molding), why do you want the "older" technology?

Disclaimer: I haven't used the "older" stuff since around squirts or peewees so I don't have any real experience with the 8090's, 5000's, etc.

Bauer 8090 can hardly be considered "old" - maybe early 2000's was the end of them.....Then they begat the Supreme 70 and so on till the Supreme One95....In fact Bauer 8090 were a light skate compared to Bauer 5000 and the like - plus they were heat moldable....but did not have the "newer" materials. It was the first to break from the "last" of the more narrow Bauer line, during their time the Bauer 8000 was out also, the Bauer 8090 being a wider skate.

Here in germany are top-of-the-line skates are very expansive, the one95 Classic cost normally 679 Euro (ca. 862 US-Dollar). The one95 will cost less more.

It's no where near being worth the cost. You're looking at just under $1000 for a pair of skates. I'd keep looking at eBay, they pop up. There was a pair of skates up a week and a half ago, i just missed them. Funny thing was that it was a friends auction.

I imagine it would be very easy. I can get cuban cigars shipped from switzerland into the US cheaper and easier then our canadian brothers to the north. US inspections on small packages apparently isnt so good.

A buddy of mine here in Sweden has got these skates and they are the "new" 8090. Looks really good I must say, except for the white stitching on the sides. Just makes it look a little to "junior" to me :) .

actually the 8090s go back aways the progression is: mega 90, air 90, 8090.

btw my 5000 i got in 98 were heat moldable.
