saw the new catalouge here are some of the changes

- Lidstrom has been renamed Getzlaf

- 75 Flex Senior Stick Available in SE16 Stick only

- SE shafts and Blades replaced by SE16 shafts and blades

- new E-Pro Glove available in nylon only (similar to most popular nhl four roll glove)

- SC6 replaced by SE6 and SC2 replaced by SE2

- brand new S17 Skate (thicker, more traditional felt tongue)

let me know if anyone has any more questions

This was one thing that I was scratching my head about last season. I would really like them to clean up the nomenclature on their equipment. S for Stealth, the top stuff, SE for Synergy Elite, the second-tier product line.

But their numbers overlap, they had SC for last season, they have low-end Stealth equipment, the ST still isn't in line with letters and numbers...

It just seems like a disjointed mess aimed at confusing the customer. I will admit I haven't sat down to try and figure things out, but lordy they're not making it very easy to begin with.

Are they moving away from Synergy and Stealth names altogether?

Wow, shelf life of SE shafts...one year. Bummer.

I am interested to see the E-Pro glove. Did it look the same as the gloves available through the team program the last few years?

is the E-Pro glove basiclly going to be the easton 4 roll nylon nhl glove in only 1 color or will it have the option for 2 colors? Ex. all the logos are red and the glove is black

Release Dates for everything?

I agree. They just changed it last year. I thought it would be around for at least another year.

Been a T-Flex guy for awhile, so as long as they keep making the tapered shaft in any name, I'll be happy.

yeah I agree but I wish they'd keep making wood blades to go with them

I was a new easton stick at my lhs, might have been an s17,cant remember but it had a Briere nametag on a lidstrom curve, I thought he might be getting the curve, guess not.

Briere is another player that jumped ship. He's all Bauer now, I believe.

All I use is Lidstroms and Getzlaf has been my favorite player for the past 2-3 years and once I herd Lidstrom was going to Warrior I was joking around with my teammates saying Getzlaf would be the new name on it and they would give me shit because they hate him. I cannot wait to confirm the news and rub it in all of their faces and piss them off some more.

Is there any chance of an Easton "ID" program like NBH? Looking around the NHL, they have the ability to create many different colors for both the SE16 and the S17. They have a good selection of curves available and 4 different flexes to offer (75, 85, 100, and 110). It seems like they could pull it off if they had the demand. I would be interested in a custom SE16 or S17.

THey seem to be getting the hang of it, look at how many different colored accents there are on their sticks (stars have gold now on s17, Getzlaf with orange se16), I dont know if they will ever do a similar setup to the nbh ID program, but I think they are getting there.

That is too forward thinking an idea for Easton to grab on to.

Actually I believe it is in the works.

I hope so although there go a few sales away from the LHS. I'll have to remember this when booking Easton OPS!
