They slip, but I fall rather often, so I deal.Gloves: Easton Air. They're the ones with the wrist wrap. This is my 3rd year rockin' them, and I'm having a hard time finding new ones I'm happy with.Pants: Itechs with a huge rip all the way down the side, so Bauer shell over them.Shins: Bauer 8000. I've blocked some beastly shots and never felt a thing.Skates: Graf 705 w/ LS2's. McCabe24 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2006 Helmet/Cage- Bauer 8000 / CCM 480- don't know what I was thinking with the CCM cage but the combo has performed well since the start of last seasonShoulders- Bauer Velocity- SFS SMU product and the only pair I tried on, good mix of mobility and protection but I often use my old pads for my non-contact leagueElbows- Bauer Shift - another SFS SMU and the only pair of new age protective elbows pads I have been comfortable playing with so no complaintsGloves- Bauer Vapor XXX- most comfortable and lightest glove I have worn, no problems with durability after nearly two monthsPants- Tackla Advantage 951- bought them without knowing they were lower to mid end but they seem like a less bulky Bauer 6000 to meShins- Flak 15 by Bauer- Peranis SMU that I think are a variation of the 6000 shins, top strap isn't like it was on my Nike's so I am satisfiedSkates- RBK 8K- bought out of necessity when my G3s fell apart in a tournament, stiffer than what I am used to but they are great after adaptingSticks- TPS Response Plus (Whip Messier), Innovative True 1 (260 Fedorov), Easton Ultra Lite 85 greenBlades- Fedorov pro stock Z-Carbon, Savard pro stock Z-Carbon, Sakic Si Core Z-CarbonAll of my stuff has been replaced in the last year or two so I am happy with it. However, I wouldn't mind replacing my pants because they have a huge rip and my shins because they still bother me during games once in a while. Oh, and I use shafts and blades and not an OPS for roller - Nike Apollo shaft and this other Vic Titalic shaft. Last year I wore Nike Quest 1 skates, but these are really the only thing I'm thinking of upgrading for the upcoming season. I'm thinking of buying a pair of closeout Ice boots or rollerhockey boots and having the comp rocker mounted on those. I haven't found a boot I like as much as the KORs, but I don't want to spend as much on the roller boots as I did for the KORs, plus having the rockers mounted on the KORs isn't something I'd imagine would be easy to do. Cage: Stock cage that comes wit Bauer 5000 - nuttin special.Shoulder pads: Easton Synergy 900 - excellent protection and mobility in one light package. Elbow pads: CCM 852's - no complaints here...very comfortable.Gloves: Sande, but i'm not sure wat model. They're good, the trigger finger is very innovativePants: CCM 892's - all around good pantsShin pads: CCM Pro Tacks - Nice, but a little bulky and the velcro doesnt last long on.Skates: CCM Vector ZG 130's - I love themStick: Bauer Vapor XXX - Best performance ive ever experienced in a stick, but not durable, and Vector 120 - a little heavy but fairly nicein conclusion...i like ccm B) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
