so the question is - if this is part 1 - what is part 2?

All three parts were merged into one topic

thanks Chadd. I know that if you post too many pics at once, it gets kicked back. Thanks for doing this.

Thanks for the pictures! It's interesting to see the assortment of flexes the pros are using. Wow P.Kane at 107? Malkin 112? Ovie 77 (remembered him using a low flex), Latendresse 122? Hossa's curve :o Very cool, thanks again.

Malkin's WC 40's are siiiick. I'd kill for a pair of all black 40's or X:60s like those. (They look even better than the LE X:60).

Agreed, they would be a total knockout with black laces too.

Yes, it is 77 flex.

OV's stick order will average about 48. The Pro Stock Manager pointed out he can break 3 in a game so it's no wonder the order quantity is high.

You wouldn't believe your eyes even if you saw this curve in person.

Also features a sandpaper grit finish applied to the blade.

Thanks for the amazing photos of your collection of Bauer Pro Stock sticks!!! A couple of questions if you don't mind me asking? First, how much stiffer is Ovie's Pro Stock 77 compared to a retail grade 77 flex? Secondly, you mentioned that Ovie's blade had a sandpaper grit finish (is that possibly why Ovie looks like he only tapes about 3/4 of the blade?). Lastly, out of curiosity, what's your favorite out of the collection?

Is hossa's curve a heel, mid and toe curve with loft?

I took this picture from the red wings gear store at the joe.

Seems like someone would have the hardest time stickhandling with it.

I have a bunch of these, getting used to playing with that hook took about one session on the ice... Like anything, with time, you'll adjust to it. :)
