Recommended Posts

To the OP - what are the numbers on the namebars, under the players' names, for both sticks?

Sorry for the delay, I've been away. Here's the info. Thanks for your help.

I have Tom Gilbert One95 with the following codes:

2736-2

107

A3

What is really odd is that there is a bulge in the shaft near the blade

Anybody know what this is?

2 pc fused stick. That's what the bulge is.

How about if it is a shaft ? I got a couple of shafts with different bulges in different spots. I have an Easton Synthesis pro stock shaft where there is a bulge about 4 inches from the bottom of the shaft. I also have an older Koho pro stock shaft where the bottom of the shaft is also bulged out.

Massive checkerboard would be x60. G3 is a one95 and yours probably has a 12k weave

does it mean that my One 90 pro stock Gagne G3 is an actual One 95 ???

No. It means your One90 has a custom flex profile.

I know g3 is custom flex profile. Anyone ever seen a stick that isn't a one95 that has the custom flex profile code? I never saw it when going through all the x60's at tsr.

No. It means your One90 has a custom flex profile.

Could it be a one95 that had one90 graphics before the one95 graphics were being used in the nhl?

I'm a little confused, I have a Rene Bourque One90 painted as a One95 (I know it's a One90 because it's stamped on the blade) and it has the C28 code.... So is it a One95 or a One90?

I have a One 95 Pro stock (POWE) as well , and it has a G3 code and marked as a 87 flex, no extra codes like C28/C29 . So why then G3 means a custom flex profile if my stick has a regular flex (87),which doesn't differ from a retail version .

The flex profile determines where the stick is flexier, like where the kickpoint is.

Already asked in another thread but never got a reply, does anyone know what "B" denotes on a One95 pro stock (Samsonov)? The weave on mine and blade material is nearly the same as my BauerID stick, but the feel is a lot different, the blade is not as dampened feeling as a retail One95.

almost clear , thanks for explanation

Basically it determines the kickpoint of the stick. Also, some players like Ovechkin like different parts of their stick to be different flexes. For instance, instead of the entire stick being a 75 flex, certain sections of his stick (I believe the lower 1/3rd on Ovechkin's) are rated at 100 flex. G3 is just a code signifying that the stick does not use a standard flex characteristic.
