RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted December 25, 2009 On a sidenote, anyone else stuck with a bunch of family over? My annoying nieces and my brothers ex decided to surprise us by coming. Woot! <_<Don't knock it...My parents and 2 brothers live in Nova Scotia...no way I could afford the trip out there this year. My other brother is up in Sault St. Marie with his GF (now fiance, I'm told...congrats Dave & Amy)...and due to a last minute change of plans...I couldn't spend today with my GF's family as we had initially planned...so I've been home alone all day watching the NBA.Hoping my GF comes by later tonight...there are still a few gifts to give. Actual gifts, get your minds out of the gutter kids *L*
Skoda10 14 Report post Posted December 26, 2009 Got some Johnnie Walker Green Label. Awesome. Bigger highlight though was watching my daughter opening all her gifts and cruising around the kitchen on the bike Santa brought her.
maxamillion 3 Report post Posted December 26, 2009 I got an IPod Classic, Hangover on DVD, some cash, and a new pair of sneaks.when I get asked what I want for the holidays, it gets harder and harder to think. This year I just asked for a few things that I needed, IE a new set of contact lenses, some tools for school, and cash towards a macbook pro, and got all of it plus the dvd and the ipod. Stampeder 2 Report post Posted December 26, 2009 Well I know I'm getting a spring break trip to Spain paid for and I assumed that was it, but apparently not as my mom got mad at me for not giving her ideas :)I got tired of the constant questions from my mother and now I just tell her "hookers and blow". For some reason she doesn't ask much anymore. If I asked my mother for that it would be a serious answer. This year, most excited about at Tim Hortens coffee maker and gift certificates. Viking 1 Report post Posted December 26, 2009 A really nice leather travel bag, and a decent haul of No Mas T-shirts. Also, XXXX Pro gloves - sort of -- I bought them for myself from HockeyMonkey on black friday ($80 after sale price, and 20% off code) - my wife's parents are in the U.S. so I had them shipped to their house, and I've had to wait until now to get my grubby paws on them. Flying to my parents' house on Tuesday, so hopefully updates to the haul will occur then.

BenderHockey 127 Report post Posted December 26, 2009 Most of my good presents were ones I bought for myself: new gloves and stick. I did grab a new Keurig coffe maker for work, and Assassins' Creed 2 from the broad though. The uncle came up solid too, gave me a box of golf balls and a new lob wedge. Race4LastPlace 31 Report post Posted December 26, 2009 Couple movies and small things. Big gifts were xm radio and a gps for my car. But the biggest gift was my grandfathers guns he left us after he passed. 3 grandsons-3 guns. We drew at random. My cousin got the beretta tomcat 3032. My brother a Walther PPK .380, and I got a s&w .357mag revolver. All three in mint condition and I'm ready to hit the local range. Tomorrow is Christmas at my father and stepmothers not sure what I'll get there. Probably money as my dad is gonna take me on post and I'm gonna pick up a new pistol next month or so (trying to figure between a fnp9mm and Springfield xd9mm. Possibly a G19) It was a good Christmas, I'm just wishing we had some snow or at least colder weather...
