A Pro Shop circa 1999

Those Bauer LS shirts in picture #2 were sooooooooooooo key.

...and the Easton Air skates you can barely see in picture #4 were not. At all.

+1 I recently found my pair in my basement...used them in my senior year of HS 98-99. Brutally heavy and took forever to break in! Went from Supremes to those and hated every minute of it!

Funny you should post this, I played the other night at a rink near where I live that's been closed for the past couple years but recently reopened...their pro shop was like walking into a time warp; Easton Aluminum's, Koho Revolution woodies, all kinds of stuff that had to be at the very least 15 years old. Gonna pick up some retro stuff next time I'm there.

I saw the same thing at a local PIAS...they had some ancient stuff there, aluminum shafts, triflex sticks, bunch of brands I've never heard of. Unfortunately, all full retail price.

man what I would give for a set of brand new 652 tacks

What size? Because I skate in a rink in Sacramento that still has a brand new pair of not only 652's, but Vacu Tack 652's in 7.5 d I believe.

Darkstar,

Any of those woodies still available? I have a nice collection of woods sticks and am always looking to add.

A few months ago I found a bunch of Ocean Hockey catalogs circa 1990 -- awesome stuff... Koho, Bending Branches, and even Christian USA aluminums!

The shop in sac still has a few KOHO Pro FIbre's and a few Titan ASD's(Ithink) black with blue striping for wood sticks in right hand if that floats your boat!

You forgot to list the Bauer 3030 sticks hanging out back there. I must have 20 broken ones sitting in my parent's basement. I used to love those things!

i am using one now :o , what can you tell me about this stick? was it any good?

I still love the Vapor, Supreme & Tacks skates from that time period. I had a pair of inline Vapor's w/ the rocker chassis. They were heavy & murdered my feet, but they looked great. lol

That might be worth the drive up there. How many do they have?
