Brooklynite New Site

Site looks simpler than the last one, and a bit less stylized. Pretty user friendly.

The Marksman gloves looks better than any of the previous ones, for sure.

Looks pretty good though would like to see a page for your technology, AKA why should customers choose your gloves over other companies?

It does look nice and clean, but I'd prefer to click on "sticks" and see all of them then click on the picture of one I'm interested in. Would also like to see more features and benefits on each stick to set them apart from each other and the competition.

I like the 3-part website with the random stuff at the bottom, more things to read = more time spent on the site.

MichWolverine, do you ever plan on offering 15" gloves? I'd consider brooklynite in my glove choice if they offered my size

The flow is a pretty large glove, larger than some 15s.

Huge improvement. I also have to say that the Marksman gloves are definitely the best looking of the bunch. Shame you aren't offering them as customizable, but then again I say that about every brand.

If it's a competitive advantage for you, I'd list stick weight.

+1 Would definitely like to know weight - really helps compare different manufacturers online.

Nobody lists weight anymore because;

1. It's irrelevant

2. Everyone lied when they did print it

The new top end Brooklynite sticks are pretty light.

One suggestion: Correct the spelling of "Nit" to "Knit."

Second suggestion: use larger plastic inserts in the side guards between the back rolls and the thumb on the Marksman glove. The inserts look tiny and uneven under the nylon thus making the protection of the glove look cheap imho.

Awesome feedback guys.........I will get on it, Avenue S is the Sakic pattern. If you go to the stick and click the boxes on the right it shows all the curves. Great feedback for me!

A couple of things I'll add.

1. Site looks good. Not 100% familiar with the Brooklynite branding, but everything on the site seemed to flow together nicely.

2. Loved the "connect" icons for Facebook and Twitter front and center. But, could use a little more content on Twitter - content is king. Facebook looks well developed and you seem to have a decent community started there. You might consider using an app like tweetdeck to post things simultaneously to both areas, which will help the lagging Twitter account.

3. Blogs are awesome and good on you for starting one (again, content is king). Given time I know you'll develop it more, but you should be cross-posting it to Facebook and Twitter whenever you write a new one. The more you can create a unified social networking strategy, the better your efforts will perform

4. More detailed page titles will help your SEO. It might be ugly, but a title like "brooklynite hockey marksman one piece composite stick" will perform better than your current titles.

5. Sticking to the theme of SEO, you should have more general terms in your Meta Keywords, like ice hockey, gloves, one piece sticks, etc.

6. Product section was not my favourite. Instead of using the four squares to navigate the products, I'd suggest "next" and "back" - it's more intuitive that way.

7. Staying in the products section, you might want to show images/line drawings of the sticks instead of just the names; if I'm just looking for goalie sticks I probably don't want to waste time randomly clicking trying to find them.

8. More product details would be nice too. I have no idea what the difference is between the Sire and Pro Series.

All in all it's got the start of a great site. I like how you've begun to build the brand, but I'd like to see more written content to really communicate it to users. I'm happy to see you've spent time and money getting it to look good, now you just need to add some polish and you'll really have something to be proud of.

For the gloves, I wish the color options were listed (and didn't require a call to a dealer) and that there was a 3d rotational view of the product.

Other than that, the site is simple, clean, and easy to navigate. Good work.

I'd add full length shots of the sticks and maybe label the tabs on each of the stick pages so folks can easily find the pattern information.

+1 Chippa, you need full shots of the sticks.

The site does look better/professional and the names of the sticks are better than the religious angle Joe was originally going for, still hate the name of the company.

I like the new site so here are a handful of suggestions that i feel could improve it overall.

- I would like to see more detail regarding which sticks are "higher end" and which ones are more price points.

- connected to that I think having four product lines for sticks might not be the greatest idea. Perhaps simplifying it down to two might be smart. Think bauer and easton with Supreme and Vapor lines and Synergy and Stealth lines catering to different styles of player. You can keep price points but they would fall into either of these two lines. (think s19 and s13. or x:60 and x:40) perhaps a marksman m16? with m11, m9 etc. I know these are probably copyrighted but its just an idea to get the ball rolling. one of the key issues with mission was not establishing a line that stuck around for more than a few years. with easton and bauer they have the same familiar product lines but with new products constantly coming in. this helps consumers to be able to locate a similar product to what they were using in the past.

- overall i like what your doing with your new gloves. marksmen are hot. palm options would be nice.

- i agree with the other posters about the whole next, back thing instead of the four squares.

overall good job. hopefully you understood my post.

I think your right about lower models........ should be clear. Feedback was great here and appreciated. Tro, I see what you mean about the name, I think it may evolve into Bnite.
