Outside of Hockey Occupations

I know everyone on here is a hockey player of some sort, be it ice, roller or floor. Let's see what everyone does outside of this community. Even if you work in the hockey industry, feel free to chime in, and if you feel i'm missing anything significant, add to my basic outline.

Years Hockey Experience: 2

Position(Subposition): F(LW/RW)

Occupation: Student

Years at Occupation: 12

Post-Secondary Major(if applicable): Music Education

Years playing - 18

Position - I'll play any forward position but I prefer to play center or the wing closest to the bench.

Job - Canadian Federal Correction Officer

Experience - 16 years of service (10 at a maximum security facility).

Years Hockey Experience: 14

Position(Subposition): Currently play D as I'm no longer as fast, started off as a Left winger

Occupation: Sales Rep/Engineer

Years at Occupation: 6 Years in current company, before that I designed military tanks

Position(Subposition): D(RW when I'm feeling quick that day)

Occupation: TV Production Audio Engineer/Utility(grunt)

Years at Occupation: 7

Past-Occupation: Retail - Pet store (4 years)

Years playing: 25 since I started, but I haven't played much recently, been coaching for about 10 years

Position: D

Job: software engineer/marketing at medical device company, pursuing MBA

Experience: 10 at this job, graduate in May from school

Years Playing: Played 4 competitively, took 4 off (playing competitive golf 2 of those years) from skating regularly, now playing again in a mens league. So anywhere from 5-9 years in total depending on how you look at it.

Position: Wing and some defense. Prefer wing.

Job(s): Sophomore in college studying business. Model/floor salesman-Hollister. Lifeguard-Lifetime Fitness.

Experience: 14-15 in formal schooling. 3 at Hollister. <1 at Lifetime.

Years playing: 4.5 although half of it I've sat out due to 3 knee surgeries (some ppl have all the luck)

Position: D

Job: Student(Physical Therapy)/Assistant Hockey Director/Physical Therapy Aide

Experience: 4 years left of school/ 5 years/ 1 year

position: Played every single one of them. Last position played was Dman before I retired a month ago

occupation: Public Servant for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in Ottawa

experience: 14 years
