Ever see an NHL player in your LHS?

Like him so much that you can't spell his name right, bigdog?

haha, I was sitting here for about 10 mins trying to figure out his name, not realizing to search. I just threw something together knowing there is a y somewhere, but not adding it in.

Every time I see this post come up I can hear the line from Airplane: "Timmy, have you ever seen a grown man naked?"

"Surely you can't be serious.

I am serious... and don't call me Shirley"

Belfour was later photographed being escorted by authorities, wearing a red FUBU sweater. Through thick and thin, Eddie Belfour has always been a voice for the black community.

Pootie Tang would be proud

We all know Belfour loves the tipi-tays...

Danny Heatley has come in a number of times to my work in wisconsin. He usually gets his skates sharpened and buys some tape. I put in new laces for him the last time he was in. I kept the old ones and he signed a bunch of stuff for the store

Lidstrom, Chelios, McCarty, And Cujo have all came to my rink to watch youth games, Lidstrom and D-Mac both stopped by the store and hung for a bit. Mac signed a bunch of stuff for us. Lidstroms kids were asking if we had Lidstrom synergies..lol. Cujo was cool, he was standing by the store, and he and i had a few words. Chelios is an asshole.

Fischer is a strange story.

So he comes in the rink, apparantly looking for his girlfriend. And actually ended up just sitting in the shop for about an hour, until his girl came in. What was strange, is that he didnt really talk much at all. Just sat in a chair in the shop. It was kind of weird. His girl was pretty damn hot.

While I worked in a bike store, Kuznetsov's wife came in once. Jesus, she has to be one of the hottest women I have ever seen in my life. For sure.

Yeah, you're not the first I heard to say that Chelios is an asshole.

It was not at a LHS, but I was a shooter at a goalie hockey school and I passed 3 days with Jocelyn Thibault, Jean-Sébastien Aubin, Jean François Labbé...

The three are all great guys. I talked a lot to Aubin of how it is to play with guys like Lemieux and Kovalev.

Couple of quick tidbits on a couple of these guys...

Back when I used to hound for autographs in Hartford 9 or so years ago:

Bonk - was a major dick, wouldn't sign a single autograph for anyone - one of the few NHLers who was like that

Chelios - made me walk with him and his two hoes in the rain at midnight, wanted my life story, why I wanted his autograph - at 14 years old, it was pretty cool - but yeah, I can see how he wouldn't be considered the nicest guy in the world

I played against Vinny last night, he was in the shop checking a few things. he was playing with the new vector 130 I believe. man is that guy good! I also see one of the assistant coaches at the rink as well. He plays with wristshot19. He is a pretty cool guy, coached most of the guys I play with now.

you won't have to worry about Vinny playing out in Brandon anymore, or hogging the beer in the bar..

Other team forfeited the game with Vinny playing but who cares anyway. He said that he was just trying to shake of some rust, he said that he was problaby going to Russia to play with Brad. That team he is going to is loaded, they have a bunch of NHL stars on that team. Its the city's 100 year anniversary and they want to win the championship, they offered Habby 6 million to play to the end of the season which is the end of Feb I believe.

I knew, there was only a slim chance that he was going to play another game. I guess that Richards was already over in Russia. Vinnie is a good guy and should do well over there.

Man, worrying about a forfeit...its a beer league........but really..just have them buy the first couple pitchers after the game

I'd love to see what a guy that is in his prime and in the show is like to play against like that..i've played against guys after they've left the game, or others trying to get back in (Statsny after the Olympics)...but outside of a guy like Rudy Poeschek, who used to play at Sunblades back in the day, never anyone like Vinny...

of course..i'd rather move up to LW than stay on D in that situation!!

...Back when he was in Buffalo, I used to see Hasek around one of the rinks I play at with his kid, who is probably about 11 or 12 now and plays (well, played, at the time) on the wing.

Back over the summer, not at an lhs but at a stick n shoot. I saw Alexander Semin of the Washington Capitals at Ashburn Ice house. My dad and I didn't know at first who it was we thought it was some really good playre from some elite league. But later I realized it was Semin.
