Ever see an NHL player in your LHS?

Vinnie Lacavelier played defense in our league tonight. Might be playing him next week if he doesn't go to overseas to play first. I believe Lightning (the MSH member, not the team) was on the team that played him tonight though. I have seen many different Lightning players at our rink many times but that's b/c it is their practice facility. Most, if not all, are great guys.

I always see Sami Kapanen at my rink before my Tuesday practices, and I have seen him in the pro shop, he was looking at sticks, but walked out empty handed and went back to watching his son play...his practice is before mine

way back in the day when i was a mite (around the start of Tuuk blades..)...we used to play in Oyster Bay about every 3rd week..where the Isles used to practice...guys like Nystrom would sit and sharpen skates in the proshop..my poor dad..after Nystrom custom radiused his skates..he had to get new ones.!!..

While I was a steadfast NYR fan growing up...those guys, Nystrom, Bossy, Potvin (sucks) et.al..were actually nice guys...

Speaking of Ed Olczyk, he used to live in my neighbourhood when he played with the Leafs. Kids used to go over to his house to ask for autographs, and I never heard of him turning away a kid. Stand up NHLer.

Yeah, if you go to good old South Mountain, you see all the Devils.

After an early Sunday morning game against the Jr. Devils, I'm carrying my bag out to the car when Scott Stevens and Patrik Elias come walking by me. Both were simply huge. Looked like they could have been playing for the Giants.

ive met hossa, bonk and schastilivy at my sport chek. Hossa came in with his dad looking for roller hockey pants, we didnt have any, i suited up bonks nephew with shoulder, elbows and shin pads, and schastilivy came in during the summer and bought two lidstrom synergys. Hossa was cool, i talked to him for abit, he was actually looking at vapor xx's skates when i saw him, schastlivy was nice too, bonk on the other hand was a dick,

I had an Atlanta player bum a pinch from me after a game. I can't remember who he was but he came out with Ilya Kovalchuk. I let him have the rest of the tin.

I played against Vinny last night, he was in the shop checking a few things. he was playing with the new vector 130 I believe. man is that guy good! I also see one of the assistant coaches at the rink as well. He plays with wristshot19. He is a pretty cool guy, coached most of the guys I play with now.

I was on the ice right after Belfour last saturday morning at UCC...looks like he's keeping in shape.

UCC? Upper Canada College, or no?

"I'll give you a billion dollars!"

Talking to your goal posts and vomiting before every game is one thing, resisting arrest is another. That's what happened in a Dallas hotel last March when Belfour, in the midst of his best season, got into a rumble with security guards, police and a room service waiter or two. On the way to the real penalty box, he apparently offered police one billion dollars to let it slide.

Belfour was later photographed being escorted by authorities, wearing a red FUBU sweater. Through thick and thin, Eddie Belfour has always been a voice for the black community.

Pootie Tang would be proud
