Agreed. The flat black look has been quite popular this year.....it seems the less colour the better. From a distance some sticks just look black. I am thinking of purchasing a dekree DC 300 stick. A buddy on my team is using one......can anyone comment on this new brand?

Not to nit-pick, but if you have a buddy who's using one, why not ask him?

Also spotted Hossa switching back to his Franchises...eventually went back to the "CCM"s in the 3rd.

Seems like the Blackhawks are going with an all white font for the cuff...I'm not liking it. Seasbrook and Bolland only players left still using the Red/White font, which looks nicer imo.

Agreed @ not liking it. Also, Stalberg switched between two different sets of Eastons last night, one with the old red lettering/white outilne and another with the newer all-white lettering.

I dont know if anyone has seen the Total one LE stick, but here it is on Bauer's Facebook page. Nice looking stick.

Nice... if you are an NHL superstar, you can allow yourself to play with something that flashy.

In amateur leagues, you'll just look a cock trying desperately to show off.

But much better than the 1st version indeed.

The top of the line nexus is a proper photocopy of the RS (all-black with matte finish). It's probably gonna be a kick-ass stick btw.

Having a white stick is considered flashy? Its not like it is a neon colour or anything like that. Personally, I think a white stick with a black blade is great for peripheral sight.

I don't mind the mostly white look. I used to prefer the white Bauer 3000 (I think) wooden sticks ten or so years ago so it's nothing radical. My only qualm with the Bauer LE products is their need to always write LIMITED EDITION prominently on the product.

I remember a lot of wooden sticks being white, including a fully white Nike one60 a few years ago, but no one really talked about it then.

Say, can someone tell me what he was using at the morning skate on November 12th? I couldn't sleep last night not knowing.

people are simply reporting a gear sighting of a star player switching brands (even if mentioned before), the sarcasm is not needed and contributes nothing to this thread

On the contrary, the spirit of this thread is the sighting and discussion of "new" gear. The simple reporting of what a guy uses adds nothing to the discussion.

I know "Gear sighting" thread in the past have been this way, though I must say the title is very vague and I can see where new members may get confused and or not fully understand the tile. Not the mention the first page is just a continuation from last year and lacks the page of what the thread is really for.

Both sides here have an argument, why don't we all just get along and move along
