Not a gear sighting, but Easton just posted on their Twitter feed that 23.3% of all the sticks being used in the NHL are RS's...Wonder if that number is entirely accurate, but even if it's close, it's pretty damn impressive. When you consider the other 80% has to be comprised of S19s, EQ50s, SE16s, TotalOnes, APXs, X:60s, Widows, Dolomites, AK27's, U+ CLs, 11Ks, Ai9s and Nexons..

I have a friend who is at the John Molson Business Conference and she said that 67% players uses Bauer skates, 62% used their sticks and 60% used their gloves. I know its not a totally reliable source but looking around the league it does seem like a reasonable number. So if you combine that with the Easton RS numbers then 85.3% of the players in the NHL are using RS's or Bauer sticks and leaves 14.7% of the players using the rest.

Assuming all the players in the NHL are 23 players times 30 teams then there are 690 players. Then only about 100 players are not using an RS or a Bauer stick. So its pretty evident that Easton and Bauer dominate the market in the NHL and it probably reflects their numbers in the general public.

To add to that; 74% of goalies wear their masks.

Those are definitely One95s, the small checker weaving is evidence. Although they are probably trying to finish up all the One95 shafts until they are all using T1s.

Some of the newer broken OPS Total Ones showing up on eBay are now true T1s.

What i found interesting is how it was kinda scripted. I use a TO with a ..... g3 curve. Im guessing that players not under a big contract from a company try to stay on the company line in case that door opens for a good day.

Here's a shot of Chara's Warrior...using a Blade/Shaft combo apparently

P.S Did anyone else tear up when the parents' son came out as a surprise? That sure caught me off guard.

i say him on the bench with a Warrior stick, which i thought was odd enough, now its a shaft job too!

as soon as both parents walked out i kinda knew their son was coiming out too. :o

Those look like just s17's without any graphics etc IMO, not sure if they are or arent.

Agreed, except that the toe cap looks way too high/tall to be an S17. Could just be the picture though.
