Not online but their retail stores are the cleanest stores I've ever been in. If that's any indication of how they run their business, I'd order from them in a heartbeat.

I order with IW online a lot, but go down to TotalHockey whenever I need something stat! Their closest store is about 90 minutes from me.

As mentioned, the stores are very clean and there is a very low-pressure atmosphere. As always, I feel like I know 200x more than the staff that tries to help me, but it is what it is. Their online inventory for each store is very accurate and there is always a large selection. They also have a lot of in-store deals that are not on their website.

They are my favorite place to order from, they ship everything for free (if you spend $75). I only use Ice Wrehouse if they have a product I can't get from totalhockey.

I have ordered and bought most of my gear from them. I order from them when at school(LHS is really small and carries mostly youth and junior stuff) and go to the stores when I am at home. I have had nothing but good experiences when purchasing both online or in store. Their rewards system is a great thing too.

Will second everything mentioned thus far and especially their rewards system.

I've grown up playing around and working with the guys that run a couple of their locations here in Missouri. The stores are always incredibly well-stocked (best in the state), clean, and set up. Most of the guys I've known always knew their stuff decently when it came to the equipment as well. I have never ordered from their website because I'm so close to the physical locations, but I wouldn't hesitate to at all.

I bought my Franchises from them back in June, and they got from MO to NJ in like...5 days. Awesome service.

They are one of the top hockey retailers. I've ordered from most of the big online guy's, and quite honestly, have had great experiences with all of them (IW, Monkey, Tron, TH, Peranis, Giant). In short, you should have no worries when ordering from them.

Last order came with box end opened and completely untaped. I called and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. The blade of the stick was scuffed to hell, but of course still usable/playable. I really needed the stick, so it wasn't worth me pressing further, I had to use it. Just super annoying.

Additionally, terrible customer service on the phone, didn't want to be bothered looking at something for me. The Franchises listed on the site, you just have to guess at what the color combo looks like I suppose.

So, no worries...maybe my experiences (plural) were the exception, not the norm. That said, I won't kiss any retailers [butt] to take my money, and I'll never spend another dime with them, ever.

I ordered graf skates from them and they sent me the wrong ones, because i'm in canada by the time I finally got the right ones it took a long time. That being said mistakes happen I know that. I did order from them again a Warrior stick had no problems untill I went to order a 2nd one a few months later. They then decided to say we are not allowed to sell warrior stuff to Canadian customers.

Never dealt with them online, only in store, and I like the guys there.

When I order online, it's always IW if they have what I want. The free shipping and 10% discount, in addition to their attitude, are the reasons why.

Local Total Hockey is about a half hour away with a new one opening up 5 mins away from my house. Like everyone else has said, very very clean store, well stocked for the most part, generally some of the staff seems very unknowledgeable. Never ordered online but, I use their online stocking system to see if they have what I want in stock. Rewards system is also great if you are a frequent customer.

If you know exactly what you want to order then no worries. The problem comes when you need some info. Every time I am in the store the answer to my question is "oh yeah you need top of the line for sure" even though I play at most 2 times a week. I've had no problems with ordering online, quick shipping with no issues.

Agreed. Whenever I ask a question about two products, they just regurgitate a description and don't offer me too much insight. Maybe I'm just expecting too much, but I feel like some stores I call, I can have a helpful conversation about gear and pick at the person's brain. But if you know what you want, then prices always seem to be very reasonable, although i think you just missed a sale!

Always have had a good experience when using total hockey. Ordered from them probably 3 or 4 times. They have quick shipping and its free when you spend $99 and sometimes free even when $75 is spent.

The only complaint I have with TH's shipping is that it sometimes takes a full day or two to have the package go out. For instance - if I placed an order today (1030am), it likely would be be on the UPS truck until Friday.

If I ordered something with IW now, it would be on the truck tonight. There is virtually zero handling time. IW also offers free 2-day Air on orders of $199+. That is a huge plus for me since standard ground from CA to me is usually 6-7 days.

IW would be my first choice just based on how well they run their site. They post weights, videos, do product comparisons, interview brand reps, just go above and beyond. Haven't ordered from them as I have 20+ LHS' within driving distance, but if I need something that isn't stocked locally I'd check there first.

Grew up buying from them. They are my LHS. Watched them grow from a single store called "Fischer's of Florissant" when I was a kid to the "Official Retailer of USAHockey". Always had great experiences with them both online and in the shops. When I ordered a pair of clearanced Graf 735s for my kid a year or two ago it turned out they were out and they sent me the current year's (more expensive) instead for the same price. One thing I did notice the other day when I bought a new S19 stick though is that it is still $229 online but it is $199 in the store. I guess nobody is perfect though.

Yep, I remember that old location! That one was the beginning and they've come a LONG way now.

Inventory isn't entirely accurate online. I placed an order for some compression pants and got a call about 2 hours later letting me know they don't have them.

I have never had a problem with them. I only have bought sticks from them since I know what I wanted and they had them on clearance; they shipped them out the day I ordered so no complaints here.
