APX is now available. Several flexes have been added. A 4" extention is available. Blade patterns appear to be unchanged.

I played with the customizer and made a 82 flex APX with Tactile, P89 patter in Black/Silver. I like it alot but I just got my 2 MyBauer Total Ones!!!

Is this enough to keep pace with Warrior? Only thing missing is the blade finish but the APX comes with a mild version of shark skin.

They added P08 ovechkin too. You can also get a matte finish. The new intermediate options suck though since they got rid of 75 flex and don't offer the P08.

Nice to see, although I'm still waiting to see if a MyBauer glove customizer ever comes down the pipe.

The customizer does put me in an interesting situation though, since I'm between the P89/Vanek and the P92/Draper, so I could probably go either way. I like Warrior's cleaner look (no graphics option and custom paint that goes all the way to the hosel, rather than just some spots of trim) and the slightly bumpy texture of their "smooth" shaft (similar to Easton sticks), but I also really like the feel and shot I get from a Vapor stick, though I've yet to try an APX. Some tough decisions will have to be made.

If you build a stick with an extension it looks curiosly like a composite plug to me.

I would bet they come the same way prostocks do with the plug fused in. They are still lighter and easier to deal with than the carbon plugs we have to install.

....just saw mybauer today and would like to customize my apx stick ......do you order from bauer directly or is your custom order relayed to your local dealer !! ...do i pay retail then or the local store's sticker ??

You order everything directly through Bauer, but after you fill out your zip code it will ask you to select your nearest LHS who I believe get credit for the sale, not exactly sure how it works. You pay retail plus shipping cost.

The Bauer P72 is like the Easton Styles and TPS composite P31 patterns. Or the pro Sundin pattern on the Innovative Novius OPS, which I still have a few of! I'm sure there are more than two of us that like this pattern!

On a side note, I'll be looking at leagues at Roseville Ice soon. Moving to the Saramento area in less than a month.

Nice! The bauer rep for this area said it was by far the lowest selling curve for bauer and that is why it will never be available on the mybauer site again.

Former TPS P31 user who hasn't had trouble the past few years getting the Styles pattern the past few years through an Easton dealer. Still Popular at the Pro level, but not at retail.

Bauer Rep speaking the truth. The majority of consumers ordering off the Warrior and Bauer customizers are more familiar with curves that have been offered at the retail level year after year.

I still have a couple tapered P72 and P31 blades in my bin here at the house. I haven't had any problems with the Vanek on my Widow, though it's more of a Darby.
