Best Cage for Visability

Recommended Posts

Pardon my old age... but could you clarify these:

"a plug"

"durty hang"

"pretty swag"

"looks dust"

Much appreciated.

1. while the other guy may or may not play better than I do, certain people on the internet think my gear looks better.

2. it doesn't fit properly, but who cares when ...see number 1

3. cool, sweet, rad, neato (how far do I need to go back in time?)

4. not new and loved by those certain people on the internet. (the sad thing is this is two generations shortened from the initial version. The english language is imploding at light speed.)

905swag has in his 15 posts made it very clear that for him it's form over function and that only by looking a certain way can we be good hockey players.

Looking for the ignore button for the first time since I joined this forum.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm not even 30, but today's youth frighten me.

I'll be 50 in a couple months. I've been practicing all year for "Hey you kids...get off my LAWN!"

Back to our regularly scheduled programming.

what is PHEW?

and also,

of course i want to look good on the ice, but i also want the functionality of my equipment.

in order for my gear to function properly i dont need to have tape cranked around my ankles, pants hiked up my butt crack, cage done up soo tight i feel like tweety bird, and shouldies ready to take bullets and hammer people into the boards.

if im not mistaken, i also gave my opinion on which cage i think is the best for visibility. let me reinstate " ccm 480"

I haven't been there, but I understand it's on Facebook, and it's a place where your expressions would fit right in. I've also heard favoring look over functionality would fit in there, too. Big fonts, maybe, too.

I thought he was speaking jive....

"Cutty say he can't hang...."

Okay, people here are likely too young to know the movie Airplane! .

Come on, Sam, you know that you're a youngster compared to at least a few of us.

Are you a troll

What's a "troll" referred to on here? Seen it many times.

Is it someone who just posts randomly and doesn't really follow along with the discussion?

It's not a MSH-specific term, but an internet wide one. Generally means someone just posting material for the sake of provoking a response, i.e. inflammatory, insulting, and/or extreme positions. I don't think it fits with Mr. 905 here -- he seems to truly want to discuss hockey. But it wasn't an unreasonable thought. You could see someone coming on here and overdoing the "bro" talk just to annoy.

Thanks

While on this topic of visibility, how come no one has made a cat eye for player cages?

I think someone posted that tron cats eye cage a bit ago. If you're referring to the bigger companies only, then I'm not sure.

The market for non-certified cages is incredibly small. The DR cage looks like one that was available for years from an independent vendor whose name eludes me at the moment.
