i was rifling through my garage the other day and started going through all my old gear from years back to now...and i saw my old bauer vapor XX twig and my orange synergy si-core, man i loved those!

what are you fav pieces of gear you own??

Stick: My first composite was a Vapor XX, absolutely loved it. Was amazed at the weight and difference in puck feel.

Gloves: Vapor XXXX (still the best gloves ever made imo)

Helmet: Bauer 4500, traditional feel, fits me great, and I feel well protected

Gloves: I second that motion about the Vapor XXXX's - I got pre-Vaughn PPF's a little while ago and they're gorgeous gloves that haven't seen the ice yet because I can't tear myself from the XXXX's

Elbow pads: Jofa 9177

Skates: One95's - still going strong, so I can't vouch for the newer Supremes, but I find it hard to imagine any skate making significant improvements on the One95's any time soon

An old pair of pro stock easton airs... size 52 +2. I had tried pants before but always considered myself a girdle guy. It took the lightest pants on the market in the proper size to convert me.

man i miss them. i bought a bunch when they went on clearance. best sticks for me ever. loved the blade feel and the flex point. has there ever been a top grade stick that was as durable (both blade and shaft) as the cnt stealth?

those original synergy's were great! they seemed more durable to me. i had one that lasted me over a year and a half, and it took a ton of abuse

I don't know if any stick will ever top the shiny aluminum Easton Gretzky shaft, still looks amazing to me to this day, wish I had an unused one just to look at haha.

i know man! i had one of those when i was about 13 or 14 and beat the hell out of it... they were pretty durable shafts too

For me, it was probably a custom pair of Daoust 555s (EEE width, extra stitching). Most comfortable skates ever for me.

for me i loved the sliver z-bubble grip shaft with focus flex blade, jr Yzerman pattern and the original ccm u+ stick,i would still use that stick over any other only if i could find some. also love the vapor XXXX shoulder pads still using them today since they came out and the original stealth stick was also pretty nice
