Finished reading Brodeur's book "Beyond the Crease", came out in 2006. It's pretty cool because he mentions things he wants to accomplish in the future which is the present now. It gives some insight on how the Devils organization is run, his personal life and hockey life. I was pretty surprised he's been without an agent until now after having one briefly at the start of his career.

Reading The Fortune Cookie Chronicles: Adventures In The World Of Chinese Food , by Jennifer 8. Lee. It's the Chinese-American history with food as its focal point. Really cool stuff.

Finally reading Tom Clancy "Locked On". Put my name on the reserve list it at the library 6.5 months ago and it was finally my turn to read it. About 200 pages in and it's got the action I expect from a Tom Clancy novel.

How's this for irony/coincidence.... I just finished reading Mars by Ben Bova, 1 week later.... yup... latest Mars rover lands on the red planet!

Currently have 2 on the go. At work on lunch break, readying Dean Koontz Shattered (part of a book, mega book, also including Whispers and Watchers). At home when I get down time, reading Hidden Reality by Brian Greene. I really enjoyed how Koontz started off Shattered, I was pulled right in from the get go.

Option Volatility and Pricing, The Prince, Machiavelli's The Art of War, and Rules for Radicals. I think I might be on a watch-list somewhere. I'm puttering through Suttree for my fiction fix.

Cather in the Rye will put you on a watch list for sure, just pick up a copy of that and remove any doubts that you may have.

I already own one. A journalist friend of mine put me onto Roberto Bolaño, I read Antwerp in a few hours which was an absolute trip, now I'm going to make my way into 2666.

Blasted through three of Andy McDermott's books over the last week or so. Not bad, probably a little more Clive Cussler than Dan Brown, but decent historical artifact related action-adventure.

Burning through James Patterson's "Cross Country" right now. Even though it is fiction, it is crazy to think that the types of stuff he describes is really happening in some of the African countries where a lot of the book takes place.

Picked up The Instigator last week, the book is about Gary Bettman and his tenure as NHL commissioner. It's very very interesting and great timing for it to come out with the looming work stoppage. The book talks about the past strikes, suspensions, sponsorship contracts, relocation and more.

The Secret Race by Tyler Hamilton (with Daniel Coyle). Not sure why I'm reading it since it is no surprise that cycling has been doped for years. Curious, I guess...and I like cycling doped or not. It is refreshing to read a pro cyclist completely admit to doping instead of claiming innocence. This is the guy who ground his molars down to the roots while riding with an injured shoulder once so I still respect his resolve (unless of course there is a secret drug that increases that)

With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa by E.B. Sledge. Before that I read the Unforgiving minute by Craig Mullaney and before that I read a Stephen King book called Under the Dome. I have several books lined up but can't even get through the one I am reading now as using my GI Bill to go to school has slowed down my non school realted reading.

Just finished Ayn Rand's book Anthem. Short read but good.

This is one of my favourite books I've ever read. VERY short book, but it says so much in so few pages. I still read it on occasion.

I'm currently reading... well... the book I just published a few weeks ago :)

Picked up Raymond Koudry's Devil's Elixir while I was on the road the last couple days. Not bad, interesting premise.

Currently reading the Keith Jones book, Jonesy Put your head down and Skate. Such a good book.

I'm also reading "No Shirt No Shoes, No Problem" by Jeff Foxworthy, the guy is freaking hilarious.
