Dear lord...we all need to unload our shafts now while it's a sellers market...

9 bids...1 grand currently...

EBAY

WTF?? Is there any way that's a mistake?

The seller may have 2 accounts or a friend that is willing to bid 1 grand for that item and in some crazy attempt to get people to notice the product is bidding crazy amounts on his own item.

From the looks of the bidding history it looks like 2 guys are shill bidding this item to death. Notice the other guys bidding have 0 feedback or history. Sounds like a scam to me...I asked the guy what was so special about the shaft, and am waiting for a response

$399

Yeah, right.

I like how he says "Please note: not worn professionally by Wayne Gretzky."

I often wonder what some of these Ebay sellers are smoking with these prices...

Whatever it is, they need to start sharing with the rest of us.

Winning bid ended up at $102.50. $1,000 bid was canceled due to the fact it was suspicious.

100 bucks for a cut shaft is still a bit expensive, but hey....

Just want to rave a bit about my latest score on Ebay! A pair of brand new NBH

One90 blk and grey 13" gloves for $50 Buy It Now! Currently, I wear Easton S9 and am rather happy with them, but this deal is too good to pass up... I've tried the One90 gloves b4 and thought they fit great. So, even if I don't end up using the One90's I'm sure I can still slang them back on ebay and make a few bucks.

For the past 2 yrs, I've been buying all my gears on ebay and saving lots of $$$ and for some strange reason, most of the good deals I got are Easton. Granted I buy them piece by peice and takes a while to find the good deals but it's well worth it.

Below is a list of stuff I got on ebay the last 2 yrs:

Easton S5 shoulders (new): $30

Easton S9 pants (new): $40

Easton S9 gloves (new): $35

Easton S5 elbow (new): $9.99

NBH XXX (Like New but came w/red Tuuks so I had to replace them w/wht): $75!!!

CCM Tacks Shins(sightly older model but new): $9.99

NBH 8000 helmet (like new): $30

NBH One90 gloves (new): $50

6 pairs of OxySocks (seconds): $9.99

My darn NBH oval cage, which I couldn't find on ebay and had to get from Greatskate almost cost more than just about every other piece of my equipment (except my skates and now the One90 gloves)... I love ebay.

Owie.... $330 for the stick (that retails in the $200-220 range) and an additonal $40 to ship it? Not an idiot per say, but I hope it comes with a jar of vaseline for the reaming he's giving someone who's willing to pay that kind of premium....

The bottom of the listing is my favorite part: "Get a FREE copy of "The eBay Buyer's Guide" as my way of thanking you for checking out my auctions. Click here now to learn 27 ways to avoid being ripped off and 13 ways to find hidden items on eBay."

Kind of ironic to place this with an item that is itself a ripoff (like all their other items)...
