Any rbz stage 2 thoughts yet?

Lively blade, still trying to get used to it. Shooting is good so far, still trying to dial in that slapshot. Paint is chipping rather easily, though that could still be a situational thing. Good impression so far, considering that I've never really tried the original RBZ.

I tried my friends last week, unfortunately with the stick being non grip and a few inches too long I wasn't able to get great results with it. My friend however has been loving it. I can see a notable improvement over his shot from his Mako M3.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago I like it better than the original it seems lighter but could just be the stick is better balanced than the first rbz. Shots seem pretty good so far definitely feels better than the rs2 I've been using. The only negative I've found is the stick is about a inch shorter than last years don't know if that's the new length or just a randomly shorter batch of sticks.

I've had mine a few weeks. I like it better than the 1st RBZ. I think it's got just as much pop on the shots, but I find it easier to stickhandle with. I think it's better balanced, and that could be making all the difference.

For what it's worth, I like the graphics a lot better on the Stage 2. I really like that black stripe on the top. I never really got used to looking down and not seeing half of my stick.

Blade is very lively when shooting, but has much better puck feel than I expected (with no foam in the blade I didn't expect much). I'd rate shooting "very good" and puck feel "good". Overall weight and balance are excellent. I really like the look of the graphics, however I wish they offered it in my preferred curve, and I don't care for the flex profile, but those are obviously PP.

In the store the dt1 and rbz2 are very different sticks. Flex point being the biggie and the shaft feel also another big one. On the ice I can't sag as I never tried the end in a game.

Personally I don't feel it has as much pop as the first one...Blade feel is better so stick handling is a bit better, also moving up some of the weight from the blade makes a better balanced and lighter feeling stick. But again, the reason I liked the first RBZ was that overall shot power and snap, I don't feel I have the same performance in that field. Also after only using it for maybe 2 hours the toe is already chipping and separating.

Very lively, you'll have to cushion it/cradle it a bit more.

More lively than the original RBZ? I remember when I first started using the RBZ I had to adjust a bit passing wise, but eventually you get used to it and cradle the puck more. Just hoping the stage 2 wont be too "lively"

I can get these for 139.99 right now, my LHS has a deal bcz apparently the WHL was planning to go with CCM this year but bauer threw in some extra money and now they are going with Bauer instead. So CCM is stuck with a bunch of RBZ Stage 2s. I held one in the store, it was extremely light, and well balanced. Just curious, how different are these pro stocks that Juniors use compared to a retail RBZ Stage 2?

For starters, I heard CHL players were going to use rbz100s painted as stage 2s because they are more durable. After that unless you're a really high profile player, teams just order stock stock sticks with stock curves.

The selection of blade curves is not great presently but I'm liking the Nugent-Hopkins a lot right now. Also have the RS2 and DT1 for comparison.

Tried this stick at the peranis warehouse clearance shooting booth. It has really nice pop to it on shots but i didnt get to stick handle much with it. I really loved the feel of the stick compared to the RBZ original recipe, they moved the balance up as previously mentioned. They also have clear and grip versions of the stick, whereas i dont think they did in the original.

Really hoping CCM brings some of these along for SummerJam in a whippy flex, because i was really impressed.

Is it me or does the new one feel a little stiffer than the old one in the same flex? I had a 75 before and the new one on 75 feels stiffer

They have a nice intermediate 60 flex.

yes, i saw that and a 65 flex, not sure which id prefer. i was shooting with a 60 and i think maybe a 65 might be just right, but id need more time with it.

So I got my new CCM RBZ Stage 2 75 flex landeskog curv,e non grip last week.

I have used it on ice one time, but I do have to say I like it even more than the original rbz, the blade seems to have more pop to it, the grapphics also look better, I especially like the black stripe down the shaft and blade when looking down on it.

Only thing is the stick is shorter than the original just shy off an inch..Luckily I cut my stick about and inch and it was a perfect match. Anyone else noticed this??
