Even though I use Nike skates, and probably will end up buying those ones because they will fit (if they fit like V-12's), I just can't stand the look of them. I wish I could get a pair they preformed and fit like the Nikes, but looked like Grafs or the Bauer 3000's.

I think kovalchuk used to use the old bauer vapor series. I remember him wearing those for a while.

I could be mistaken, but i just remember him using those for a while.

Kovalchuk did wear Vapor 10's. I don't think the look like the Hi-Ho's, the Hi-Ho's are alot more flashy IMO. These seem like they just swapped silver in for the coloured part of V-12's.

he uses an old vapor 10/ v12 hybrid. Same as Naslund.

I believe Kovalchuk uses the XX/V-12 combo as he wore the XX's before he switched to the "Nike's" - Naslund uses the 10/V-12 hybrid

its a pro stock. Hybrid or combo just means that the skate is a combination of those two boots. There is no specfic name.

If I remember correctly you can see this hybrid skate on the Nike website. On the picture where you see Nässi head to toe in Nike he wears these.

haha I think its just a distortion from the glass. Notice the glass in the foreground and Iginlas synergy is also distorted.
