start_today 770 Report post Posted September 17, 2014 Is there a graphic like the one above, but for the previous years models, so we can see how kick points moved?
mjpisat 36 Report post Posted September 17, 2014 Played my first game with the mx3 yesterday.I think this is the next one95. Wow.Snaps, one timers and clappers are scary hard. I shoot hard anyway but this stick makes my shots down rightRetarded.Great feel for me, I think it's slightly lighter then my nxg just on feel in my hands andGreat balance.Great stick. Bauer hit this one outa the parkAlso hearing the CCM Tacks is the next coming of the one95. Need someone to send me some sticks to demo.
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted September 18, 2014 Is this true for the whole supreme line or just the mx3?Just for the MX3.
Rockingsquat 4 Report post Posted September 20, 2014 how's the shaft ? always found it pretty boxy and bigger (in short easton-ish) on the NXG compared the TO.Found it pretty weird too, on the picture it looks like the KP is between your hands unless it's pure marketing
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted September 21, 2014 Depends on where you hold the shaft with your bottom hand. I shoot with my hand pretty high up, so my bottom hand is on the point. I like it quite a bit.
flyers10 57 Report post Posted December 4, 2014 Anyone been using this and have any feedback on shots and puck feel?
AIREAYE 248 Report post Posted December 4, 2014 Puck feel still amazing. Shooting is slightly disappointing.
tvaughan4 16 Report post Posted December 4, 2014 I think the description Bauer gives on this one is pretty honest. The blade is definitely more dampened feeling (than the NXG). I think they went a bit too far in this respect and it's too damp, I like where the NXG was at, but that's all personal preference. Also, the shaft is definitely made to get a big load on it. It's great for one-timers and slapshots, you can really bear down and get some power on them, wrist shots too if you have the time. But that's the problem, for me, is that I don't feel like the shaft is responsive enough for me. It takes to long to load up and get that release. I prefer the Nexus 8000 shaft, good compromise of load and response/release. Of course it's all in how you like to shoot, but again, I think they built what they set out to build, it's just whether it fits your style.
lpgbackups 17 Report post Posted December 4, 2014 ive heard a decent amount of people saying how they prefer the NXG to the MX3...i'd like to hear some more positive comments about the mx3 before i pick one up.

MX3 feels too slow for my liking as well
bubaloo 6 Report post Posted December 6, 2014 I haven't noticed any "slowness" in release. I went back to the mx3 after trying a few other sticks trying to bust a slumpIt's been my fav stick now and feels a bit more powerful on shots then the nxg.
sheffy92 3 Report post Posted December 6, 2014 I have the nexus 8000 stick and in my opinion it feels about the same as the nxg stick overall. I also have the MX3 stick... I like the blade feel but shooting seemed to kick slow for me and I feel like if I was to give this stick a shot again, I would get a 77 flex instead of a 87 flex. I've also heard that the tack stick is another stick thats similar to the nxg stick.
Avalanche_Yeti 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2014 what does a dampened puck feel mean? does that mean you cant feel the puck as much.
AIREAYE 248 Report post Posted December 14, 2014 I equate that to feeling relatively more organic, or wood-like versus a blade with a crisper feel.

jeffg 13 Report post Posted October 31, 2015 is the dampened blade feel similar to the old Easton ST?
60PlusWinger 82 Report post Posted October 31, 2015 I've had a few of them. I've always liked how light the TotalOnes were but I think the NXG was a better stick for me. The MX3 is good for hard shots but I noticed the load and release difference between that and other sticks I have used
