Jersey Keeps Tucking

Recommended Posts

I noticed with any pant or jersey I wear, because I bend so low when skating, the back of my jersey inevitably starts tucking itself into the back of my pants and makes it a bit uncomfortable. Is there any way to stop this from happening? The Reebok Edge jerseys we use don't have fight straps.

if you're so bent over when you skate your jersey is getting pulled over your pants it sounds like your bending to much at the waist. To get low when you skate bend at the knees.

You could always get used to wearing your jersey like Ovechkin. What makes it uncomfortable? I always tuck.

that Wayne guy had his jersey tucked from youth hockey where he was usually the youngest and smallest on the team having to wear a jersey that was to big for him.

Happens to me all the time. I think it's mostly my shoulder pad/pants combo. A simple solution would be great. Maybe sew a weight of some sort into the bottom of it?

"Fight strap" solves it. Had one put in my son's jersey when he first started playing as a mini-mite. I have long since quit caring about that though.

Would a girdle help solve this problem?

Yes it would. I also had the issue where my sweater would tuck itself into my pants, in the back, when I played. I switched to a girdle at the suggestion of a teammate for more mobility, and the tucking-issue was resolved as well. Nice unintended side-effect of the switch.
