teamohiogocincyswords6111 1 Report post Posted January 7, 2018 Anyone have any info on the up and coming mission roller hockey skate? I'm looking at buying the NLS1 now but trying to figure out if its worth another couple of months in my skates. Any idea on release date, specs ect. Mostly wanting to know any injected lacing with the mission roller hockey skates.
EBondo 233 Report post Posted January 8, 2018 It's slipping my memory, but I'm pretty sure the NLS line was a 2017 release, which would mean they aren't due for a refresh til 2019. Regardless, even if they are a 2018 release, you're probably looking summer/fall before a refresh, so if you're looking at the NLS1's, I'd say jump on them.
mojo122 535 Report post Posted January 9, 2018 The NLS line was a late summer, early fall release in 2016.
Wicked3Aussie 68 Report post Posted January 13, 2018 Pretty sure the release was around August for the NLS range back in 2016. The best part about a new Mission release is that new Bauer’s will be released next year!
MD56 10 Report post Posted January 16, 2018 I have NLS3's, bought them this past July.
gokdog 11 Report post Posted May 8, 2018 Yes, 2016 late summer, they had them at State Wars that year in Indiana. We are in the same boat, bought a pair of older CCM skates to tide my son over, I think he is finally done growing, will take a chance when the NLS1 prices go down. Wicked3Aussie 68 Report post Posted June 21, 2018 Anyone have any updates? I remember getting my hands on the catalogue in April 2016 for the NLS range. surely there has to be some info floating around?
drwpry 2 Report post Posted June 21, 2018 (edited) Last month there was a picture of a product photo shoot on their instagram. No product image of course but their instagram has been dark ever since. So I'm guessing it'll be late July early August. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bimerg6AKr0/?hl=en Edited June 21, 2018 by drwpry
gokdog 11 Report post Posted July 19, 2018 (edited) They have had a Mission booth every year I have gone to State Wars, I would expect that are going to coordinate the media and have them in St Louis, we will be there, and I will get some pics if they have it on display. Go Team Colorado! 2002 and 2003!!! Edited July 19, 2018 by gokdog
the_game 452 Report post Posted July 20, 2018 I’m not sure what the standard operating procedure is anymore, however if you follow a certain Narch Pro player on instagram you can get a glimpse of the new skate I think. (hint: the pros last name rhymes with fostercamp)
drwpry 2 Report post Posted July 20, 2018 (edited) And sure enough they posted up about their appearance at State Wars just now. Now we wait. They just confirmed launch for February 2019... the wait continues Edited July 20, 2018 by drwpry
gokdog 11 Report post Posted July 20, 2018 This is good news for us, as our online season is about to end at SW. pretty smart to release before the season, Kudos to them!!
Wicked3Aussie 68 Report post Posted July 21, 2018 I hope the new Bauer’s aren’t pushed back.
Reapers 3 Report post Posted August 28, 2018 I just heard the rep showed off some pics to some of the staff here in AZ. They are suppose to look epic and scheduled roughly to drop around Christmas 2018 or shortly after early 2019. #can't_wait Some of my favorites skates were my old AC1 Inhalers. eastside 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2018 (edited) does anyone know what the new line will be called, ie nls or ds, also will they still be doing the colored heel chip Edited August 31, 2018 by eastside
Wicked3Aussie 68 Report post Posted September 1, 2018 It looks like this will be a similar upgrade as DS was to AC i.e similar boot with different colours and a different tonight. although the tongue on the new one looks unchanged
steve66 45 Report post Posted September 3, 2018 Loving the colours in the new Mission line, certainly a move back to a more 'Roller' vibe. The skates pictured aren't the finished look. Still has the colour chips, but not on the heel. Don't think I can confirm the name of the line yet
Reapers 3 Report post Posted September 4, 2018 Yes I was told they were going to be closer the the aesthetic of the AC line. Which I was a huge fan of so I pray thats true.
Izyeightyseven 3 Report post Posted September 5, 2018 yep it seems that the photo a little higher is not the model to come in the future collection but rather a mashup of "test". a look rather like AC line and t.10 :)
