My understanding is that the actual Jamie Benn prostock is more open than the CCM P90TM. I tried the Sherwood variant, which was more open than the CCM version, and didn't like it. I'd say yes that its the same as the CCM.

A2rhino 84 Report post Posted October 29, 2025 Just be sure to get the right flex and flex point. I'm personally a fan of the OG BLUE Mid kick and the High Kick VS models.

CCM's P90TM has been tweaked over the years so I am not surprised to hear Sherwoods variant is slightly different. From what I gather, Warriors version is an exact clone of the Benn prostock. strosedefence34 179 Report post Posted January 13 Finally decided to pick one of these up. I grabbed a OG blue mid kick p88 70 flex. The last few seasons I have been experimenting with sticks. I typically go for a college pro stock nexus stick. Tried a few of the 5 sided nexus sticks and I'm not a fan. A friend suggested I switch to a p92 because there are more sticks available at pro stock. The p92 was okay, but never felt comfortable. A few weeks ago I decided to grab one of my all time favorite sticks pro stock 2nproSE p88 82 flex and I had a great game, everything felt right that game. I decided to go back to the p88. Since pro stock P88 sticks are somewhat hard to find I wanted something I could regularly get if I needed a stick. For the price I figured I'd try one. I have only played one game so far with it. I was very impressed with the stick. The weight, flex, kick point everything seemed pretty good and seemed very close to a 2npro for me. My only issue with the stick is I feel like the grip isn't very grippy. I am used to more grip I guess. I will wait and see if he does the custom stick discount and grab one with the basketball grip and see if that makes a difference. Either way though I am a fan and if I can't find 4 sided Nexus p88 sticks I will pick up more of these.

Its actually a bit liter. (375g) and tough as nails.
malcb33 103 Report post Posted yesterday at 02:32 AM Has anyone tried the Pro34 (Geppetto's Masterpiece) curve? Sounds pretty interesting, not sure about the 6 lie though, as I prefer a 5/5.
A2rhino 84 Report post Posted 22 hours ago I personally have not however a good friend of mine did and decided to stick with the P28.

He's got P28 and P28M from Pro now, and really likes them. I toyed around with it after he decided to shop it around to anyone who might take it off his hands. I thought it was alright. It was a little hard to get a great sense of because it was the super round shaft shape, which isn't as much my thing. I liked the straighter portion on the heel of the blade, but the toe shape wasn't really great for me. That might have changed if I tweaked the balance a bit.

I guess it depends on the curve you're coming from, but personally, I enjoy the P28 toe shape, so that shouldn't be an issue for me. Can I ask how you found the lie played? Similar to the P92 or more like the P28?

Never liked the curve and it’s collecting dust at the moment but I might give it another chance on a new sport court rink that just reopened near me. Heel is flat with a curve at the toe and the blade shape is similar to the P28. attached is a picture (left to right)of the PRO34, P92 and PRO28

I used to be stuck on Easton 5 lie blades, basically Modano retail, Warrior Smyth, and Sher-Wood Coffey, but I hardly notice lie changes now. It took a little while to adjust to catching passes away from the body with P28, but I had no issues adjusting to the high lie on the Kane Pro when I had one.

It really doesn’t look that much different from the p92 there, which is pretty disappointing.

The 34 is very straight through the heel. Angle and lighting of the pic makes it look more like the 92 but it doesn’t play like the 92.

You can tell it's straighter in the heel (which I love), but the toe looks like it's lacking from the picture, compared to how it's described. "A P92 that is flatter through the heel and better for backhands, then has more toe but not as much toe as the Benn, and then the blade shape should be shaved down like P28"
