On looks alone, I'd have to go with the Bauer 8090. I like classic looking skates. Black skate, white holder, white laces. The contrasting stitching is the only thing on the 8090's that is borderline for me.

I voted for the XXXs, I like dark grey fading into light grey, and the shiny logos :lol: but for classic skates I think the Graf 705 looks the best.

yea but if you can pull it off i think the z-air comp se's are the best looking for a finesse (spelling) type player. i dunno i think some skates look stupid on different sizes/types of players. its starting to creep me out that i pay that much attention to skates...

Comp SE - No doubt about it, onec the light catches the silver there's not a better looking skate. It always tells people that your a hotdog who wears shiny skates.

I'd have to say I love the look of Bauer Supreme 8000's casue they had a classic look with just a little flash. But I voted for the 8090's.

Any of the 700 series great white or reverse great white grafs look pretty good. T-blades or lightspeeds just adds to it.

EXACTLY! I'm totally with you on that. WAAAYYY too much emphasis on what looks cool and all (regardless of cost). Hockey is not a fashion runway.

(however, I AM reminded of those White Nike's that Sirgay Federov used to wear.... man, if I ever showed up at the rink wearing one of those things..... ;) )

I like the classic skates myself - the Pro Tacks closely followed by the Bauer 8090's. Of the new "pretty" look, I think I'd have to agree that the Z-Air Comp SE's are the nicest looking. The Vapors I find damn ugly though.

I love the traditional look of the Bauer 8090's, Pro Tacks, and Graf 700 series.

While i'm sure the XXX's, Vectors, etc. are all pretty good skates, I just hate the modern 'robot' look of them.
