First Cars?

Recommended Posts

I don't have it yet, but have my Aunt's Z8 lined up...super sweet car. If for some reason she doesn't sell it to me, Crossfire appeals to me quite nicely. Only con of both of these are the small trunks, and don't think the quad will fit, do you?

how anyone could mentally go from a z8 to a crossfire is beyond me. crossfire is possibly one of the worse cars i've ever driven. dead steering, no input at all, very cramped and uncomfotable interior, and just plain slug like. cudos to you if you land a z8 though.

busa's are nuts. there are several fully worked high boost ones rooming indianapolis. one was at night drags last week pulling 9's. insane street bike.

I've never driven the Crossfire, but lookswise, I love the interior. Black/Red/Silver combo just does it for me, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get the Beamer no problem from her...she only owns like 10 other cars. (She's rich, I'm not, so don't think I'm spoiled, yet.)

Your lucky, the 328ci has always been my fav BMW model. Id kill to have that car at all, let alone for my first car.

the 328 is a pretty well rounded car. Not the fastest or the best handling, but pretty good for what i got it for. A few thousand dollars in upgrades, and its one of the best cars i've ever driven. You can have a pretty damn good car for cheap in the 328, but i felt like going with some "bling" (hamann body parts, carbon fiber, new rims, and some in car entertainment.)

correct me if im wrong, but isnt the Z8 over a 100 grand.

how old are you???

if this is gonna be your first car, then something is wrong in this world... no offense to you. no kid just getting their license deserves that kind of car, and i don't care how much money someone has!!!

I had a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville, it wasnt too bad but it had over 120,000 miles when I got it and it had its fair share of problems. Plus the windows and A/C didn't work which was ok during the winter but in the summer it was a b***h. lol

Now I have a 2003 Eclipse and I love it... even though lots of people seem to think it's: ugly and/or slow (because it doesn't have a turbo like the 2nd gens) I'm sure that if some of those people actually drove one they'd realize it's a very nice (and quick) car. Oh and as EricG pointed out, it's not a sports car  lol

I have a 52 ford mainline with a flathead v8 in it. It needs to be restored but its in really good condition for how old it is. The car doesnt run right now. once get the garage cleaned out me and my dad are gonna work on it. Im 14 and dont even have my learners yet so i havent driven anythng. But the car is gonna be killer once its fully restored. It wont be anything i would boot around in all the time though. So yah thats my first car. So when i do get my learners i will be booting around in my dads 02 expedition.

My uncle is insanely rich and did the right thing by getting my cousin a Passat for his 16th birthday.

My first car was an '85 BMW 325i.

I can say I have a brand new Z06 "lined up", but that doesn't mean it's going to happen. I would bet money he's not going to get that car.

I got my permit one year and one day after MSH was invented, also my birthday! I get to drive the sienna and my dad's sweet tundra (I wish). I won't be getting a car until I'm out of university so it'll probably be over 5 years until I"m able to answer this.

That's crazy, once i got my license i was driving my dad's Tundra, and my mom's Sienna. But then after a while, o got into my bro's 92 chev S10 when he got a golf, and now i have a 2000 Honda Prelude
