Not a problem. They really do go above and beyond to meet customers expectations. Many of the people who dislike True skates either could not get accustomed to the weight, they didn't use them long enough to give themselves time to adjust, or just couldn't get past the way they look.
Be careful with how many times you profile....
Many "templates" have a forward pitch incorporated into them and if you keep profiling the same set of steel, and the shop doing the work doesn't account for such by adding a negative pitch, you are adding more forward pitch every single time you profile. I found this out myself the hard way a long time ago when I decided to profile my personal set of steel 5 times and I felt like I was sliding down the face of a cliff. This is something that many shops dont take into consideration as its nothing you can see by eye unless you know to look for it.
Dude, thanks for looking out for me. The upper body stuff was never the sticking point for me. I grabbed a set of XL CCM JetSpeed shoulder pads that fit great and were super cheap. Iโm all legsโ it was always the pants that were going to be the problem, and you helped tremendously with that. Oct 11 I hit the ice again for the first time in over a decade!
A couple shots from our tournament in Vegas two weekends ago... the Knights practice facility is awesome. We lost 2-1 in OT in the championship game but still had a great time.
Team pic. The majority of us have been playing together since we were 14 years old... we are all in our 40's now. Team name is Hammer Team, in memory of our friend (last name was Hammer) who passed away in 2012 from cancer. He loved Crown Royale, so their logo is represented in our logo ๐
Equally likely to be a mental institution! ๐ Last week I had 4 out of 7 have to go to the bathroom during our game, mouthguard issues, the water bottle squirted so hard one kid was knocked off his feet when I gave him a drink, etc. Total fun!
