Keep in mind where the curve is on the blade. The 88 is a bigger overall curve but is more gradual over the length of the blade. The 92 curve is more concentrated and will tend to shoot as the bigger curve of the two.

Got a pair of Vapor 1xPro's on Sideline. Was discounted because the thumb loops were cut. HOLY S**T! Came home after my first game with them...hacked every pair of gloves I have! The improvement in feel and mobility is unreal! No change at all in protection and all of my gloves feel 💯% better...YMMV of course. Better late than never 🤣

You’re also much more prone to hyper extension with the loops cut. I hate how cut loops feel and the solution is buying gloves with good flex thumbs.

P92 is slightly shallower than a P88. Not sure the newer curve charts have depth on them, but some of the older ones do. P92 is usually a 1/2" depth. P88 is slightly deeper (1/16) at 9/16".

imho one of the best threads on reddit for ages, if you have an interest in either the how or why or any other question, ask away. https://www.reddit.com/r/hockeyplayers/comments/lcim5n/interest_in_an_ama_with_a_former_zamboni_driver/

All I can say is, WOW. I grabbed one of these for myself, and I am shocked. The shots come off so hard and fast with this stick its unbelievable. I usually use a shorter stick, top of my collar bone, as it helps decrease the swing weight feel and makes it easier for controlling the puck with one hand. With this stick being so light I increased the length to just slightly under my chin which also allows me to load the shot better and the puck literally rifles off this thing. While I am still adjusting to the increased length my shooting has been unreal. Last night I was practicing one timers from the top of the circle and shattered a glass pane which is something I haven't done in quite a long time. All of the shots came off blistering fast with a ton of power even when the puck wasn't in the "sweet spot". Also, everyone was right that the top 4-6" of the stick is double walled and once cut it dropped a TON of weight.
