I hope that this heighten awareness allows for more people to understand what's going on. Progress is impossible without awareness of the issue(s).

    Simply reduced costs. Zero benefit.

Haven't checked this site in a while... Had a heart attack in 2013, killed about 10-15 percent of heart muscle. Over a total of 6 caths I now have 7 stents, last ones placed in 2015. Still skate and play and also started running....I suck at running but have now done six full marathons a bunch of halfs and one 50K ultra. Take care of yourself Dave

Howdy, No games today & tomorrow. Just watched the player press conference from Edmonton. Really great to see them standing up together like that. I can understand why it didn't happen yesterday. Awfully late notice and hard to get everyone on the same page quickly in the midst of bubble life, game day routines, etc. etc. I hope the increased awareness does some good. Its encouraging to see some folks in the NHL sphere talking about how to make the game itself more accessible / affordable / whatever. Of anything, I think stuff like that is the most likely to happen. Nothing but a win for lots of people involved in the business side of hockey if the sport grows through more inclusion. Mark

Oof. I made the mistake of buying a Nike aluminum shaft. Black with bronze graphics. I don't know if I ever ended up using it in a game. Definitely gave it away at some point. Would have been great for home defense lol. I remember Innovative and Combat now that they're mentioned. Fisher? Was that a brand?

Tough time to launch a new skate line with retailers experiencing loss of revenue from the pandemic and the uncertainty of youth/adult hockey fully returning for 2020/2021.

It will be interesting to see how well it does at retail. Easton Mako skates were a niche product. Owned and skated in them with an LS2 holder/Nitinol runner setup and loved the skate. However it didn't do well at retail.

Same here. I love my EK15. It’s an amazing stick and the graphic is so cool. I get a lot of people asking if it’s wood haha

That's a good question. I feel for you parents and your kids when it comes to all of this. I have no skin in the game other than myself so it is easier for me to walk away with the hopes that the 2021-2022 season is "normal" (so weird thinking that far ahead). Traveling increases the likelihood of contraction and rinks don't want to be on the hook for the next outbreak. You're seeing what's happening with colleges that tried to reopen and cases are reported so they close doors again. There will always be somebody who wants to do what they want and "ruin it" for everybody else.
