I profile my runners with Greg at Puckstop Sheffield. They have a Prosharp there. And Blackstone to sharpen the blades if you need FBV.

Looks like Tackla is having a sale in case anyone who belongs to the big & tall lifestyle needs some pants: https://www.tackla.com/shop/tackla-pro-9000-nhl-hb-z-hockey-pants-sr-jr-black-12556-black.html?___SID=U

There is a noticeable change in stiffness when transitioning from a youth skate to a junior. I normally don't like to put anyone in a skate stiffer than a 3S, X2.9, 9380, or 76K. For example 2X and 3S Pro are stiff, composite boots (nice skates, but could be too stiff for that transition).

This has been the way I went with this. It's frustrating that Puckstop don't state all their services and options online, but they were very happy to explain the services they can do once I sent them an email. Thanks both.

Thanks. I'll contact you in future if I decide to go this route.

I would say a EE in the new Tacks is close to a FIT3 in width but the FIT3 has a little more volume.

I ordered them from Bolt Depot. I have a ton of them. I can sell you the bolts. t-nuts, and bit tip you need if you want for a pair of skates for like $10 shipped, I’ll toss in some extras just in case of the bolts and t-nuts. The t-nut spikes are longer than needed so I trim those down with diagonal cutters. Once I get the hole drilled, I slide the t-nut into the hole as far as it will go inside the boot, and then use the screw to draw the t-bolt down into the sole. It takes a little finesse at times and I have to keep my index finger on the t-nut inside the boot to keep it from spinning. Once it bites in you are good to tighten down. It is careful not to go too tight otherwise you strip out the head of the bolt. In my opinion this system is way superior to rivets.

We'll see how NYI respond. If they can rebound from Game 1 it might be a good series but you are right, when TB is on it is impressive to watch.

Yea, I don't think the Flyers would've made it to 7 games against TB. NYI is a good team but I just don't see how they keep up with TB. Last night's game probably isn't going to be the norm for this series but you see what TB can do when they're clicking. TB has the better 'tender, can control/move the puck with ease and can put up points. The Flyers had the better goalie but not the latter two. From a fan perspective, I hope this series goes 7. I just don't see that happening.
