  1. Ever since they released their new performance under apparel lines, they've never sold socks at retail in a 6 pack, always as a single pair. I think the stock problem is for them, my store has had no problems getting the socks in.
  2. I did. Very impressed with skate and stick. Didn't like the gloves at all, the backhand liner pad prevented airflow, very stuffy.
  3. Interesting, I actually don't think very highly of the RBZ shins. Thought the CL was better. The way they extended the velcro so it overlaps with the shell is weird.
  4. All valid questions, but hockey players are finicky people, even those not on MSH. If he feels lighter and faster on the ice, then more power and pleasure to him. Whether or not he actually IS faster is a question that cannot reasonably be answered in a scientific setting for most rec hockey players.
  5. IIRC, the One60 was a catalogue product for Europe only.
  6. It's wood. He's also dead, so 'used'. Was this post a glitch in the server update problem?
  7. Yes they do, but whether or not your retailer will carry them is another story. Should be an option to order them though.
  8. True. But sometimes in the name of good CS, you don't really have a choice lol.
  9. Lack of consumer education? One pair that I baked was the Winnwell Pro Stocks, conveniently the latest 'iteration' of the TPS gloves you mentioned. Focused on flaring out the cuff and 'imprinting' the shape of my fingers in the palms. Worked out very well. However hot a skate oven is and I literally just said how long in the post you took the time to quote.
  10. Like a pair of skates in a skate oven. Preheat and 2 minutes. You could get them damp by wetting your hands. Also, time to build the bandwagon lol
  11. It doesn't change the fit per se, just makes them possibly more mobile and comfortable than they were before.
  12. Sure, heat helps soften the materials. Manufacturers just haven't decided it was worth mentioning, probably because consumers haven't decided that this was needed. I've baked the last 3 pairs of gloves that I acquired. It definitely helps.
  13. Congrats man!! This time of year is pretty stressful I'm sure, but gets less so with every acceptance. Which school/program do you want to get into? BTW we like to chirp Ryerson kids pretty hard during frosh week (I'm at UofT STG). "Rye High", "2.0! 2.0!" in reference to GPA, you get the idea LOL
  14. I would say that they are very close in all aspects such that you could pretty much go ahead and pick one randomly. However, in terms of my own opinion on the design and fit. I've said before that I really like the APX2, followed by the RBZ and then the 20K.
  15. Interesting, I've never seen it around here either. My absolute favorite was the purple Gatorade Rain, too bad they don't make it anymore.
  16. The Nexus 1000 did replace the TotalOne pant. The 800 replaced the One80 pant. In the pant category, Supreme became a new line with the girdle shell combo.
  17. Based on the sheer amount of RBZ skates and Stage 2 sticks that have been on kijiji over the past half year - I'd say a fair amount.
  18. lol it won't make any measureable difference in market share.
  19. Strongly disagree. While there could be people who would fit well in either skate, knowing the fit profiles of each would not have me compare them with much depth. Heel, instep depth, midfoot and ankle shapes are all noticeably distinguishable from each other for each fit.
  20. The first few employee purchase programs should be trickling in...
