  1. No, you'll still likely have luck fitting into the Ribcors. It is confusing for sure, but the overall shape of the Reebok/Ribcor generation is comparatively more similar to each other than to, say RBZ or Tacks.
  2. Street hockey with a $60 composite stick? Ouch haha, it won't last!
  3. If they weren't, you probably wouldn't be seeing it.
  4. Great explanation, thanks JS. Are you guys going to release a visual guide for dealers to illustrate? You did so with last year's skate lineup that I thought was fantastic.
  5. Ahh high school chemistry...right?
  6. After getting rejected last week for a very promising banking position, I managed to secure an offer for the same position (albeit in a different subdivision) yesterday!!! Funny how life works sometimes. Bay Street, here I come!
  7. Yeah, that 2nd picture looks about right.
  8. Have any of you guys seen the upcoming CCM P29 Crosby pattern? I'm a little confused to what it actually will be. The 2015 CCM catalog that is posted here lists it as a P92 clone. However, I have 2 discrepancies in my experience with it. Firstly, the copy of the 2015 catalog that I have in my store lists the P29 as Toews and Hall clone for some reason. This contradicts with a sample P29 curve that I also have, which resembles a cross between the PM9 and P88 with a higher lie than both. Anybody else have samples of the new UltraTacks stick w/ P29?
  9. Exactly, there are so many variables at play that it would make for an interesting read when it's out.
  10. I for one, will be reserving judgement until that is published. In the meantime, I'm hoping that this study will push manufacturers to make safer helmets, while retailers should continue to champion that best fit = best protection.
  11. I agree on your points. The helmet would've been a 5500 if it was NBH, but I digress. Good point on the emails, I'll ask my boss to see them.
  12. I don't even know where to begin with your post...it's so ridiculous; your anger (why are you even mad?) is so misplaced it's mind-boggling.
  13. I remember them having a line of 'beer' gloves at PHL at one point. Were these included? Doesn't seem like it given the very unique cuff.
  14. That actually looks pretty cool.
  15. This would be a tremendous investment for those not living within range of decent sharpening locations. In addition to their own skates, they could also run a small side service for the skaters around them facing a similar problem.
  16. Nope I didn't notice any sizing discrepancies. We'd need a larger sample though.
  17. I need to graduate here guys... http://www.thestar.com/yourtoronto/education/2015/02/27/u-of-t-teaching-assistants-strike-late-night-deal.html
  18. Paint chips doesn't mean that it isn't durable...
  19. OK, there's some confusion here. Look at page 30 and 49 of the catalogue. Page 30 shows the curves available in the 1X. P28 appears to be only available in one option. Page 49, which is the curve chart, shows Lie 6 OR 5 available.
  20. Your QA point may be bit of a reach. There may be certain discrepancies but that may within their margin of error. I don't think it should be a factor. P28 AFAIK is a direct clone of E28. Don't worry about the lie numbers, everyone measures them differently. With that, I don't think there's a 'true 5.5' or whatever.
  21. Yes and yes. Bauer is assuming more people who know what they want for profiling will continue to do so for their steel, so the stock radius, which is rather inconsistent as it is out-of-factory, is of less consequence.
