First game and last game always seem to be either totally full or totally empty. We had 6 skaters today.

Won our game today 4-2. Keep mind I maintained a .000 save % at 4-1 for most of the game... hard to focus with so little work.

The krown was actually what I was going to buy when they came out because it was the first helmet that I ever found comfortable. Then I tried on a re-akt and it surprisingly felt great as well (I hadn't bothered at first since I've never found another Bauer helmet that was comfortable.. I was previously in a CCM V10) So, equal comfort and roughly the same price at the time, I grabbed the re-akt because I thought it was nicer looking (all other things equal, might as well get the nicer looking one) I'm not sure it's worth the money to switch, even if they do both fit me equally well.

I'm usually the one asking all the questions in an interview these days.

I love visiting Silicon Valley! Weather is so nice, so many smart people and amazing companies. On my way to a Datacenter now!

Wrote a really good 30 min presentation. Found out the day before presenting that it's actually a 90 minute slot. Now it's not nearly as good because it's a whole lot of copy and paste from other presentations to make up the time. I doubt ill hit 60 minutes, let alone 90. Oh well.

Dunno. I'm all for going to steel wrapped in leather.

Yeah I don't even notice now when I switch between them, besides being able to make tighter turns on player skates.

Stuck sleeping in the phoenix airport because all flights to san diego were grounded. No hotels available. So, I'll just sleep at the checkin counter until 6am I guess.

Could you powder coat a re-akt? Sorry getting a bit off topic here ;) EDIT: to make it on-topic, can you powder coat a titanium cage at all? Bauer or CCM?

Looks a lot better than the original! I'm slightly concerned about the rounded visor though. A little distortion at the very edges of my peripheral vision, whereas I had none with the original flat visor. We'll see how I like it in a few weeks when the next season starts up. And of course, it needs to not fog up. The original didn't at all, so hopefully this one doesn't either. But that will be the biggest thing to worry about.
