    Brutal game last night. Lost 4-0. I didn't have to do all that much but it seemed like the rare few shots they actually got went in. Though according to the scorekeeper I actually had more shots against than they did. Considering I cut my videos down to only saves and goals, I'm not sure how... We carried the play about 70-75% of the game, and did a great job on the cycle, but never got any good looks at the net. They just held us to the outside the entire time. I hate letting in four goals (though, my career GAA is 4.03 so... ) but when we get shut out it's hard to win.

    Yea, really just need to get the chance to work on it. I could really use a couple stick time sessions in just lowers and gloves to work on skating and movements in general. Do you mean I drop to my RIGHT knee? I'm actually not able to drop to my left knee from a standing position, which is why I'm not able to go right to left.

    I just hope if they’re going to do that, they let Lundqvist go to a contender and get some draft picks in return to help speed up the rebuild.

    Holy crap. It’s been a while since I checked this thread out. Is that even the same person?? Well, he skates a whole hell of a lot better than I do, that’s for sure. Though I also envy his ability to get an empty rink to practice on.

    Yep, I can do it easily going the other direction. Just can't figure out why I can't do it right to left. Then again, I'm also unable to slide right to left from a standing position as well.

    Take it easy if you need to, man. Warmups and my first couple shifts at WF were BRUTAL until my ankle loosened up a bit. Had to sit out a couple shifts here and there because of it. Hopefully we get you at 100% you can snipe me top cheese, but if not, don't push it too hard!

    Completely agree. If you're not going to be able to push all the way out, at least getting across the goal line would have been better than what actually happened. Someday I'll figure out how to push right to left without spinning in a circle...

    I'm trying to figure out if you tripped or if you just thought you had a lot less time than you did to get into position. Was the initial shot off the mask? Either way a better option would have been to push off and slide across OR get up and get square again (depending on how well or how quickly you're capable of doing either option).

    Will Bauer put on CCM holders if you buy custom skates from Bauer? Why would True put on Bauer holders? I'm not saying they are going to stop offering Tuuk as an option; I'm just saying you shouldn't be surprised if they do.

    I'm guessing they won't be putting on Tuuks for you anymore, but they may still sell you just the boots. Not sure.

    Our local rink has gotten worse and worse. Now at a point where you can see the sand underneath. Another local rink a couple years ago was so bad there were chunks of ice coming up and everyones stick tape was purple from the paint from the red and blue lines. I ended up tripping on a rut, and landing in a puddle. Told the refs to stop the game but they refused, so I just got up and left.

    I'd have to remove mine from the wheels to do it, so that makes it kind of suck. Directional tires plus different sizes front and back make it usually not worth the effort.

    Yea the step holders are super ugly. I don't know how much I care how ugly holders are but... they are.
