    Yea, being able to see the sand under the ice by the zamboni door and trying to dig pucks out from between the ice and the boards... yikes. The new lines look fantastic but unless they turn up the AC it's not going to last. I shouldn't be surprised when you consider they built a brand new arena and put really rough second hand boards and glass up. Clearly it's all about cost-cutting for them, unfortunately.

    Our game was cancelled :( They finally re-did the ice because it was getting dangerous, but I guess they decided it was still too soft. I have to question how bad it’s going to stay since they can’t seem to keep the building cold, despite how small it is. Sure looks nice though:

    It’s be fine for shops around here that do maybe 10 pairs a day, but yea not useful at all at that kind of volume unless they got SIGNIFICANT discounts on rings.

    Haha I figured you meant Lindros, but I couldn’t help but troll ;) Though at the same time, if Kane can wear 88 without anyone complaining then I’m pretty sure Lindros isn’t in THAT category so you’re probably fine!

    I don’t get it. Hainsey I can accept... he’s an upgrade for third pair over Hunwick for sure (who, interestingly enough went to Pittsburgh), but Marleau and Moore make zero sense to me. Even more so because Marleau’s signing actually puts them above the cap (which is scary in itself consindering I thought they had a LOT more cap space than this...) I honestly would have preferred they just iced last years team over the moves they made. At least they resigned McElhinney.

    This. Exactly why I was able to tolerate the original Mako that looked ridiculous. I'm glad they didn't stick with the blue outline on the tendon guard. That looked awful. I do agree that something about them actually looks worse somehow. I think its the upper ankle area. It just looks like they glued on some jenpro or something.
