Hey I'm working on a project for a buddy who has played for some obscure teams, I want to get him his old jerseys to frame. I remember like 10 years ago someone posted a guy in North America who did this sort of thing. I'm coming up pretty blank right now finding store fronts that do this sort of work without a minimum. Also am not concerned about any tech fabrics and such, am fine with 2005 style full weight jerseys.

Then don't clip his head if he would have hit him if he was upright. If you're going for the body but catch his head that's one thing. Cooke's hit certainly did not look like that was the case.

Are the tacks gone for good? I was getting some vapor xxx baked today at my LHS and one of the guys said they weren't going to make the tacks for 2 years, but I wasn't sure if that meant AT LEAST two years or if they are already planning on bringing them back.

I've figured out kovalev's true calling. Golf. Not only does this guy have crazy forearms, but for golf, he can take his time, be pretty, take some more time, and wait until the perfect moment. Right temperature, right wind speed, and right lunar position and make a good shot. He'll be big time competition for tiger for sure.

If I were you, I would've kept driving down the left side...if he gives you a lane to the outside, try to vary your speed then "out-quick" him when he gaps-up and cut back to the middle once you get behind him. If he tries to cut you off or drive you further away from center, put a little move on him and try to catch him going to wrong way. By coming to the middle, you're making his life MUCH easier, as he doesn't have to decide when/where to get himself positioned infront of you. You have no angle on him. Just some constructive criticism/something to think about. Just for reference, do you remember how that particular 1-1 worked-out for you? Looking at the picture, I can't really tell if he's biting or if he's crossing-over/getting his feet set. If he was biting, you had more than enough room to read it/get by him. Getting set? I think you're best bet then would have been to try using him as a screen (even though it looks like the puck was on-end) That d-man's gap sucked. You had all the room in the world. I would have used him as a screen and busted my ass to the net.

Was it a new z-carbon? and how well did it hold up? most people say you can't curve a graphite blade... you mean how long did it take the coach to break it against the wall? :lol:

I'm fairly sure the weight is the new mogilny. I just compared my blade to the chart, and measured the mogo blade. Turns out if it balances slightly more on the toe, then you get a half inch measurement. I'm guessing that's what happened... the blade profiles also look similar. Also, who's the idiot who decided no 75 flex dolomite 1-pieces, but they DO HAVE 75 flex tapered shafts. Aren't they the same thing due to inno's fused design?

they're both the same quality, the mb 33 is just bigger with a longer cuff. The mb 11 is a short cuff and tighter fit.

WOAH.... just looked at the catalogue again, and no smyth curve for the standard blades.... -- someone at warrior is going to get hurt.

seriously, you think all that banter that easton puts in thier catalogue can be considered an accurate description? At least the warrior catalogue is hip. ;)

isn't the smyth curve illegial? Isn't it a bad idea by warrior to advertise that, rather than just saying 1/2" like the rest? Someone mentioned the commander not being made in a 75... I'm more dissappointed it doesn't come in like a 120... or even a 110 like kov's uses.

Everything manufactured by Easton now has an massive-ass, IN-YOUR-FACE logo on it now. It's such an eyesore on their gloves - it just looks disproportionate. Yeah, but now everyone in the rink will know what brand you're wearing. And more importantly, everyone watching NHL games on TV can see what brand the players are using. But that can backfire too: I find that broken Vapor XXX lites lying on the ice are very easy to spot - the half lying in one corner is all white and the half lying in the other corner is black and neon green. yeah but especially for easton, the pro players equiptment doesn't resemble the retail in the faintest. Except for the big E logo... :lol:

That's the CNT logo, not the grip logo. If you look on the stealth grip it says CNT grip on it. Also, is it that hard to give the USA 110 flex to where we don't even have a choice of what stick to use? Anyone know how the 300 and 350 compare to the origional synergy? Or are these things the same as the "easton one?"

How did easton manage to make the stealth 15 grams heavier while adding the CNT technology to the blade? Not to mention new gloves... again. I don't even remember what the 2005 gloves looked like without looking at the catalog. Only reason I remember the 2004 is heatley has it painted onto his gloves.

Where'd you order your twigs from, was it online or a retailer in CT? Can you get a mesurement on those for weight? I've been thinking about wood too... :lol:

I don't think he'll be all nike to be honest. The clips they have of him on the site even have him with easton stick and gloves. I think that since nike doesn't have a glove line and the apollos are so old, that they don't mind too much. You'd never see that in Bauer though. Any particular reason that Nike only has two sponsored players? Back in the day they sponsored everyone an thier mom...

There's another topic from a couple weeks ago about how players can't change the name on equipment. Would the same thing apply? The easton skates are super-imposed on his vapors I'm assuming of course...
