  1. To hell with the power play. I mean holy crap. I don't know if Mike Yeo needs to go or what the deal is but how often are you going to pass back and forth thru the middle with minimal shots before you realize your better off just pounding shots from the point and letting Guerin, Kunitz, Crosby,Poni,Stall all big guys great down low just start hammering at rebounds. Geeez. I'm so mad.
  2. Oh I agree. They could have called a few things against the Pens. I got the FSN feed on my computer here at work. I was just hoping you werent arguing something like the Semin highstick on Rupp or Fleishman trip on Letang , both from the second period. As your background as a referree (sp? whoa) can you elaborate on the 2 min instead of 4 minute call for highstick as they showed the blood on Rupps jersey and him gettin chin work? Too insignificant or didn't bleed out fast enough?
  3. You should be able to ship all your shit in a big box for less than that easy. Especially the sticks. IF that is an option. Even shipping them one way and flying them back would be better.
  4. Are you saying they're missing calls against the Pens or arguing some of the calls against the Caps?
  5. No doubt frustrations boiled over with Crosby on Zetterberg, lets face it Zetterberg is one of the best at what he does and he is Crosbys shadow everytime the Pens and Wings meet. I have to wonder what the hell is going through Jim Howards head at the end of the game last night. Crosby was engaged with three Redwings players (Zetterberg, Bertuzzi, Kronwall) and yet here comes the goalie to get his piece of him. I don't really feel theres a place for that. Reminds me of Lundqvist a few weeks ago trying to get his piece in when he has no business doing so. I really feel like the Penguins need to sit GoGo and get Mckee back into the lineup. I feel a shotblocking stay at home player like McKee would be more effective in this type of situation. Also, Mark Eatons +/- is scary for the last 6-7 games. That aside, alot of bad blood still remains. Whats the odds of Penguins/Red Wings round 3? :)
  6. Just so we can make fun of him for it. Not too worried about the actual game part of it. Ya'll score more without him in the lineup anyways it seems.
  7. Rask just turned 23 years old. He has some more maturing to do but I would say he has the components to possibly become a very good goaltender for many years for the Bruins. They would be wise to keep him around for the long haul barring some catastrophe.
  8. Glad the Pens took care of things very well tonight. They got ontop early and that was perfect to take the crowd out immediately. Glad to see they finally got the first shutout of the season for the team as well. Can't believe it took this long. Good bounce back game.
  9. Charas not as much of a fighter as Thornton is what I mean. Even though Lucic has a buncha fights I think of Thornton as the enforcer of the B's. Good call tho :)
  10. So is everyone happy now? He fought Thornton, doesnt get any bigger than that on the B's IMO.
  11. Scenario A is he fights one of Bostons 'big three' as it was called. Scenario B is he fights someone a little less known as a fighter like Begin or potentially someone else, I'm not all familiar with the B's roster. Scenario C is of course he doesnt fight anyone. My question to the B's fans and the rest of the hockey would is if he steps up and fights somone will the issue be dropped? Does he need to fight one of the 'big three' which IMO is kinda unfair considering the career fight numbers of Thornton/Lucic vs Cooke? If he does drop the mitts does he lose some of his for lack of a better term 'little bitch' label? As a Pens fan I do hope Cooke fights SOMEONE tonight, if not because he will have to, but because he should to show that hes willing to be accountable for his actions.
  12. Oh yeah the playoffs are a whole new animal but it still stinks to get swept in the season series, mostly cause I hate the Devils lol. Main concern is I'd much rather have the #2 seed than the #4 seed.
  13. Didn't have anything of value in your truck or think someone just broke it to be a douche?
  14. Another piss poor effort against the Devils tonight. I cannot believe that the Pens are half a game away from losing 6 straight to the Devils. Couple breakaways and a 4 on 2 given up before the game is half over.. I'm so disgusted right now.
  15. JR the worst thing about Tampa was that they dint have redbull at the arena so we had to do jaeger shots instead of bombs at the bacardi stand outside. haha! Put a word in with the higher ups, they need to address that ;) Thanks for the info prior to the trip :)
  16. thats a nice list man! Just got back from a great trip to Tampa Bay for the Pens game, included a stop in Raleigh for the Pens game thursday night. Went to a st pattys day parade and got lots of beads haah. Going up to pittsburgh next weekend for back to back home games and then to Atlanta in early april.. All told I'll see 5 of the Pens last 16 regular season games. Already had spring break! :)

  20. What pens fans are pissed at Cooke?
  21. Props to Booth and Richards as well for settling it.
  22. I agree. To get a defined number 1 they probably would have had to blow up their roster. I just dont see the year ending on a good note for Philly though.
