Mine is 6 and not sure, but assume her brothers is 12-15. She’s a natural goal scorer, facilitates just as well. Not uncommon to have a box shadow thrown on her the entire game, not to mention being shut down early due to her team crushing. Just wish we lived where there was better hockey. We travel from Utah to girls league play in Colorado, but that is still A level. She’s gone to Chicago and Boston on AAA girls teams and crushed, but those are single tournaments. Wish we lived in Boston or Minneapolis. Just don’t have that here and so play up, 12U playing 14&15U and make the most of it.

....not that it matters, but my stat was wrong above, 35 goals in 12 games....

Hell of a run so far playing up with the girls. 32 goals in 12 games.

What/when to eat/drink before a game for most energy?
EJB replied to jlird808's topic in General Hockey Discussions
I always try to drink at least one beer in the locker room while getting dressed. Sometimes 2, if the game before is going long.- 27 replies

Got CRUSHED tonight.... But the showers were hot, the beer was cold and the company in the lockerroom was great.... Playing hockey is better than not playing hockey.

Boston is awesome(actually staying in Marlborough), but the traffic is horrific.

Get to go to Boston, traveling with the little one, to watch some hockey. Sounds like we're getting tours of Harvard(Coach Lyndsay Fry worked it out) & Boston College, while we are there. Sox are there 6 days. Could be worse ways to spend a week in August.

Throwing on the brakes on the breakaway.... ....and then don't miss(he didn't)....

Congrats on the home, JR. Had what I believe was my best Sunday Skate today. Just one of those days that passes are on the tape, shots find the back of the net, pucks bounce right. Added bonus, the guys I skate with are the best. Hockey is such a great game.

10:45 PM beer league games. The past 2 Wednesday's, I've had 10:45 PM starts. Both were running behind, once on the ice at 11:20 PM, the other around 11:10 PM. Getting home around 1:00 AM and trying to get to sleep to be up at 6:00 AM is rough on an old man like me.

Just early, WTF do you care what someone wears at S&P?

1.5 hours of drop in and then getting the last 18 minutes + OT of that Boston vs Ottawa game, settling into the evening with playoff hockey & then doing it all again tomorrow, including my neighbors big Greek Easter celebration....,I'm winning!

Sending all good things to you and your new beautiful bride.

I'm okay, that's just how it works. But taxes..... Nice ACH going to the IRS on the 17th.

I upgraded on release date from a 4 to the 7....YEP...crazy difference!

Having to have your pup miss one competitive game(significant contributor on both), to make another competitive game, both having significant outcomes and winning both. Remember when kids just played sports in season & didn't look like they were dumping on one team or another.
