^^^Just to qualify, I deal with individuals that use drugs on a regular basis. That has resulted in their involvement in the criminal justice system at a felonious level.

Yes, stay away from illegal drug use. That said, this sounds like 25 years ago, green and alcohol. Not new or IMO, something to worry much about. Coaches know who's drinking and smoking, if they don't, they're probably para-professional, not at the school and don't listen. Keep saying no, it helps your young brain.

Winning playoff game against the #1 seed, we played our way in #8 seed(I believe, not sure), but moving on and they're not. Super chippy late, including a junk crosecheck to the back at game end that resulted in a no shake, half shake, crazy separation end. Winning is better than losing. Fun to win and we skated well.

Getting on an airplane with the entire family, heading to the Little One's league championships. Will be the 1st time her big brother ever travels to one of her tournaments. Going to be a good weekend!

FINALLY pulled the trigger on a Canon 7D. Been taking photos of the pups on the ice with a 30D since its release, so it was REALLY time for a new body.

UPS slew footed me today. Ordered the Little One a new bucket today, hers has been hurting her head(ask me Sunday to open it up, but it was maxed). I order, assure a delivery date for today & get weather.(snow here in the West, not nuts here...that's relative) Package is here(20 minute drive for me to pick up) at 6:01 this morning (arrival scan). Before 12:00, when not on truck for delivery, I inquired as if I could just come to pick up, they tell me "still in transit". I say, no, it's 20 miles from my house and I'll grab it, they say no "it's stilll in transit". Well, 15 hours later it's still in transit and the Bug gets on a plane tomorrow to play...and UPS didn't provide a service I paid for, nor did you attempt to work with me to go half way.

Had a fun Thanksgiving later morning/early afternoon skate. 1.5 hours of skating, lets me eat and drink what I want with no regrets.

Started the season with a win today. Bunch of new guys on the team, had a lot of turnover from Summer. Think we're going to be better.

Get use to those early morning games! Worst thing is getting there an hour early for a dryland warm-up....

The Skatin' Utes get a 4-1 win to start the 2016-17 season & the Little One had her new twig arrive today! Good day at our place!

That's funny. Need to do a poll, just to see. I assumed I was quick with every week/10 days. Know more than enough that go a month or the season.

No problem with it getting dry. i laughed with the wash... I don't wash my chit after every skate anyway, hell, if it gets a wash every 3-4 skates, doing well.

Had a Sunday/Monday skate, able to keep our gear in the lockerroom. Today after the skate, did a potluck outside the rink, visited, had food and some drinks. Stinking AWESOME two days.

^^^ Went to the full cage. How are you liking the Jetspeeds? Did you come from Supremes, thoughts between the two?

The young pup took more hardware home today. 4 games, 1 goal allowed(crappy, because she had a great diving save, but a kid cleaned up the rebound), Champions.

So I've said it before, but I cannot express to you cats the enjoyment I get from my Sunday skate with the boy. If you are lucky enough to get the opportunity to compete(I use that word loosely) with your kid, you're winning. I look forward to it every week, it's awesome, pre skate lockerroom, skate, post game lockerroom(I have beers, no go for him)...,it's something words cannot grasp. I'm a fortunate dad. I hope I can do this with my daughter at some point as well.

Two nights, two teams, two 1 goal wins... I'll take it! Now having a bourbon and coke and savoring victories & starting a 4 day weekend.
