  1. Incorrect, the Nexus 1000 looks the best. Source: I'm 16.
  2. Looks nice, I wonder what's different this time around though.
  3. @Zac911 Are you able to provide any insight?
  4. A Canadian website, mind you, which means no US shipping.
  5. Being sick and missing school when there's a bunch of important assignments due soon, after missing part of last week as well. The workload is starting to get overwhelming.
  6. The HCR looks to be gone from the new lineup, that's a shame. Are there any other details you can provide us? EDIT: Both the A6.0 HT and SBP feature SmartFlex, but the tweet makes it sound like one model is a low kick and the other is a mid. Did I misread it?
  7. So, the old Bauer P10 or Easton E2?
  8. Too rich for my blood, I'll take an a4.5 instead, this more than makes up for standardized Latin exams (whoever thought of it)
  9. Welp, now I've got two things to look forward to on 3/15, at least this one's good. @Zac911
  10. Decided to dust off the old NXG (which I took every available opportunity to dump on when I used it because of the PM9 curve), on a whim. I love it. Shots were flying off the blade, no matter if I shot off from heel to toe, or did the 'pull in, push out' kind of shot I'd expect to have to use with my P46. Snapshots off the heel were good too. Too bad the NXG is a junior, the shaft dimensions and height were too small for me. Might need to look for it in an intermediate closeout...
  11. Only 2 games for Miles Wood. I felt like there'd be more.
  12. Article, with video, if anyone haven't seen it yet: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/2018/02/06/angry-alex-burrows-knees-taylor-hall-twice-helmet/313858002/ Absolutely, he's had a long list of Player Safety issues, and this was reckless. I could see / hope for 10 games, but knowing the DPS it's unlikely.
  13. This is a very good point. Manufacturers have their reasons to keep product details under wraps, and reputable / knowledgable members of the hockey community have the same. If you haven't seen details on a new product or spy shots of it in action, it's likely for good reason. If nothing else, at least send JR a PM asking if a product is okay to discuss. The relationships between MSH and manufacturers are part of what makes the site and WF / SJ so great, let's not ruin them over the name of the next new thing. That said, I'm very glad that @Miseaujeu is going to give us an opportunity to discuss the new product and I'm excited to see what new things Warrior has implemented.
  14. My area has a couple, like the Junior Rangers (http://cjrhockey.com), but I don't know how far Stamford is from you. I do agree with @chippa13 though. The scheduling and logistics are a complete pain from my understanding, and they're obscenely expensive for a squirt. Spend the money on other things, mainly focusing on your kids individual skills and especially skating. I think that'd pay off better in the long run.
  15. From what I remember, he's actually the opposite. He uses his equipment until it's completely worn out and broken, especially sticks.
  16. https://www.nhl.com/news/new-york-islanders-to-play-12-games-at-nassau-coliseum-in-2018-19/c-295409152 The idea was obviously bandied around quite a bit, but I didn't expect it to actually happen. Good on Ledecky and the NHL to get this done, but I'd still prefer the Islanders just go back to the NVMC full time, especially now that its been renovated. Happy to see the Islanders return to their rightful home, hopefully means more Saturday night home games since the Nets will have Barclays mostly to themselves (there are only 3 on the schedule this year and it's been a notorious issue among Islanders fans).
  17. Congratulations! Hope you make as many (positive) memories in your new home as you did your old one.
  18. I was honestly kind of surprised to see five games at first, but with Marchand's history and the fact that Johansson was injured concussed on the play, it makes sense. EDIT: Johansson was concussed earlier in the year as well, so wouldn't surprise me to see him out for most of the rest of the regular season, considering he's had a history of head injuries.
  19. Video, if anyone hasn't seen the hit yet: It isn't the most egregious hit we've seen, but given how many times Marchand has had to be reprimanded by the league, it wouldn't surprise me if he got the maximum fine.
  20. Thomas Greiss has logos on his Vaughns as well, too bad he can't make a save in them.
  21. They look neat, but like @Cavs019 said, the shoulders should be fixed. I do like them though. And another shot of the new CCM skates.
  22. That's only $320 USD, I'd guess somewhere closer to $450 CAD?
