I thought the skates looked better in person too. I liked them when I first saw the XXXXs but it wasn't until I was in the store that I fell in love with them... I'm glad they happened to fit too. The only skate my shop had in stock that fit my foot.

That closure system on the shins looks cool... I wonder how practical it will be. Looks like they're trying to mimic the NBH sling setup, very nice. I think they will be popular if the new setup works well, it gives a better option for those that want a traditional shin pad that stays put.

How's the length for the senior. My pulse was about 58" not good because it was a whippy 85 flex. Putting a two inch plug in it left a stick that was waaay too whippy for me.

Thin... Don't think I've seen that THC blade. I love their thick blade though. If I could find a 10.0 with the thick blade in a big toe curve I'd be buying 9 or so too.

I actually use those skates and they are wonderful. I get tons of flex and get a nice deep knee bend. Although for pickup I normally get stuck on the ice with a bunch of girls that stare at me and I have to bring my own puck to play... They don't like when I check them and they all refuse to play with hockey sticks. Stupid girls.

On the second goal, Perron made the pass that set up his goal. If the original shot would have went in he would have gotten an assist... He just crashed the net and put it in the goal, it was an all around good play. It wasn't a gimme goal, he helped set the whole thing up.
