Like I said earlier, just keep my pants out of the splash zone!
-
yup, czech Lang Eastons. Richards gloves, somewhere between $50 and $100.
-
Update:
-
those are some sexy socks!
-
You are correct sir. Foul tip. ;)
-
I know a few people that were watching them and had a similar limit. In fact, I was in the chat with two of them. Here ya go:
-
Arnott gloves are nash with digital overlay. Pics will come sometime soon. NTKT10, they look better in person! Beautiful stitching on them, they definitely aren't 13.5" which is good. I'm glad I took the risk on them. They're solidly 14" gloves with what seems like a shortened cuff and slightly extended finger length. Fit is very good and they are BRAND NEW. Paid a bit more than I wanted but they are worth it.
-
Same deal, still sick. Not wanting to take more pictures. But these just arrived along with some Frolov game worn Bauer 7000 skates.
-
They're Eagles. :D
-
Yeah, I did. They were pricey but worth it. The custom pair I have in mind will have to wait.
-
WOW, TBL. Just wow. Very, very nice. You couldn't resist! I admire that. :D definitely couldn't resist. Luckily, I was able to pull some strings and save some dough. Another pair of gloves is on the way and they are even more sexy. But dont get any ideas, Drew already has preemptive dibs. haha.
-
3. but hopefully, the x50s will be gone soon.
-
I'm sick so I dont really feel like taking my own pics but these arrived earlier today.
-
Blame USPS/UPS for that, I should have stuff to show off tomorrow... Hopefully.
-
I miss when pictures of gear were posted in this thread... That was pretty cool.
-
Is it one of those blue Montreal sticks? Those things are ridiculously heavy. I forget what brand it is, I never heard of them before I saw his stick. It's white.
-
I've got a buddy that has the heaviest aluminum stick I have ever felt for that. I swear the thing feels like it's filled with lead.
-
Gotta get pro stock or go custom. X70+ is the model you need. Or you could do like I do, 1/4" added to the fingers, keeps the cuff short.
-
Nice! I saw a pair with the baby blue on it(similar but not quite like yours), they looked amazing... Yours look better. Freaking sick.
-
Most of the guys (that I've played against) don't quite know positioning and they set up wrong against a lefthanded batter. I've seen gaaaapping holes down the third base line and opposite field power alley. Sometimes they will put a not-so-good player in RF because most balls get pulled. If you watch a team you can figure them out. First at-bat for me is normally LH. If they set up right I'll bat RH because I can place the ball better.
-
Oh there is definitely a reason to switch hit, IF the opposing team shifts.
-
His hands are REALLY fast. It slows my hands down because I have to turn the head of the bat from in front of my head, around and through the strike zone. I switch hit and both ways I have to use the same swing or my timing is soooo far off. I end up double stepping and obviously you get no weight transfer that way so it turns into a slap hit.
-
I look retarted batting in softball, I use the Sheffield tactic to slow my hands down... I just cant unteach the muscle memory. In baseball, I played either RF, 2nd and once was a catcher. I like 2nd best but the first baseman complained that I kept hurting his hand... I'm not used to first base being 15 feet to my left. They moved me to third. The spin and lack of bouce(sometimes) makes it really difficult. On the bright side I dont have to hope that the pitcher ducks in time. *shrug*

Question: Am I the only long-time baseball player that has issues playing softball? My biggest issue is fielding the ball, it doesn't react like a baseball. Second issue is that the ball seems to go farther if you don't swing for the fences, it makes no sense... I give it a HR swing and it flys to center, I give it a bloop into the alley swing and it's over or near the fence. <_<

haha imagine single layer.
