Did I miss something? I thought the One95 was a standard taper... Pro stock? I was wondering that same thing. I thought so too...It's retail. Nothing too spectacular, but for someone who's been on 'gear hibernation' for a summer- not too shabby. One95 tapered shaft, with a Vapor XXXX wood blade.... and a pair of Canadiens EDGE socks I grabbed while on the honeymoon in Montreal. The real goodie will be here on Thursday or Friday hopefully.

Thanks! Nah, I haven't been able to find any nice places within walking distance from where I've been staying (Sofitel in MTL, and Stathcona, and Residence Inn in TO). I went to Pro Hockey Life in Montreal and it was tiny.. I was kinda bummed.

Got married last Saturday, spent 3 days in Montreal/3 days in Toronto for our honeymoon. A trip to the Hall of Fame, and all the Eggspectations & Tim Horton's my belly can contain... haha. Head back home to Massachusetts tomorrow morning, then back on the ice next weekend after a summer long hiatus. Life is gooooood. hehe

If your wife will allow you to bring hockey gear, and use it for even one time during your honeymoon........then you certainly married a KEEPER!!! ;) Well, the fact that she let me pick the honeymoon destination, complete with a trip to the Hall Of Fame is a huge plus.... So even if I don't sneak out for a drop in, I think I'm already ahead.

I've dropped a total of 65 lbs since Christmas (a lil more to go)!! My stomach is finally settling down from my bachelor party at the casino last night... It may not feel so well, but it was a pretty good time. In 3 weeks, I'll be a married man and driving to Montreal and Toronto for our honeymoon. Good stuff. And I'm also getting the itch to play hockey again after taking the summer off. Perfect timing. (I'm hoping to sneak my gear- at least my skates into the car on the honeymoon...)

Very nice... I love my Ribeiro Mission Titanium pro stock. How is the shaft shape? Mine is somewhat concave, but a little larger than my V-Hex, and Fuels... If you ever wanna part with one, I'd give that pattern a try ;)

Morello used to spend a lot of time making weird noises with his guitar, is he still doing that? He was probably the worst live guitarist I've ever seen when they played lollapalooza in 93 or 94. Don't forget Morello's aweful, aweful acoustic folk record under the moniker...The Nightwatchman. -
I'd like to hear some feedback how the inline boots work out, I may end up in a pair soon since I got a nice set of Pitch holders jus' chillin' on my bookshelf.

I just signed up for an adult clinic... The downer was that I have to wear a cage now, I've never had to wear one before. So instead of pulling my Oakley visor off, and putting the cage on every 3 days (..and I lost the earflaps) I just picked this guy up. I LOVE the helmet, not so much the cage.... I'll deal. I'm just looking forward to popping the visor on this in 8 weeks when the clinic is over!! haha

I got a good look at them in person today.... Wow do they look great. This may just be me being optimistic- but as others have mentioned, it looks a heck of a lot deeper than previous Vapors. My only concern was the forefoot in the D width I was looking at looked real, real narrow. I'd like to try out a pair of Bauers, but I'm in no position to purchase so I didn't even ask for an E width pair. With my weight loss (52 lbs so far), I've noticed my footwear and my Missions being a little roomier. So I'm thinking of putting some loot aside, and trying a pair on. If they don't fit right, it's only a little more coin for One95's...

Beautiful... I need to grab a retail version of this stick. Although I love the pro stock Ribeiro that I bought from Drew... it's got a little more toe-kink than my other Ribeiro p/s, and retail Rafalski's. I may have to have a batch of woodies made.

I lucked out and got an almost new pair of M-1's for $22 on eBay. Now I just wish I could get my hands a nylon pair.... I'll have to agree, those SJ ones are awesome.

So? Some guys are like my dad wearing Bauer Supremes from 1989, and sweatpants over their shinguards. Other guys like Me just genuinely like hockey gear. I know I shoot the same in premium or pro stock gloves as I do when I borrowed my little brothers no name (AHS) gloves. I just like the pro stock better. I would play the game with rolled up magazines tied to my legs If I had to, but I dont have to, and theres no reason for you to be so judgemental about the things 90% of us here on MSH like. No ones judging you, this isn't PHEW. I didn't say there was anything wrong with it.... If you read the post directly above my response, you'll see what I was saying. I'm saying some people don't care if everything's color coordinated, they just wear whatever and play. I don't care if anyone judges me.. I just don't feel like it's a fashion show. So a guys gloves don't match his sweater, big deal? I'm not being judgemental at all... I just wouldn't go as far as to say it's "unbelieveable", or "the nerve on that guy".

Some people feel fortunate enough to be able to play... as opposed to using the glass as a full length mirror all the time. A couple of guys I skate with use gear people on here would consider "eyesore", but some have said it has sentimental value, and others just dont care.

Not sure...heard from a friend Pure Hockey had these, then heard someone called and Pure hockey said they had none in stock. Gonna have to head over there sometime and confirm what the deal is. I haven't seen white + any color 4 rolls at Pure Hockey in a while, and I frequent a handful of them
