I don't know if anything is going to be "better" for ice like that, but the ability to glide better would seem to be a good thing on softer ice like that. You could get the glide with a shallower ROH, but the FBV allows you to also have more bite when you need it on the slightly harder ice as well.

Three strides and I can glide a full lap around the rink. It all depends on your skating and the ice conditions.

Damn house smells like a skunk, evidently the dog got a little too close to one tonight and my wife didn't do anything to clean him up all night. The smell is making me sick.

I did have to run out to the bar because they drank the entire case of beer before I got back, so not quite first class.

My flight home landed almost an hour after my game tonight was over. When I got to the parking lot, three guys were still waiting for me with beer and clams on the grill. I love my team.

I'd like to make the back half bolt-on like a jeep hardtop, but that's way out of my league. When it's paid off I will probably put in one of the panorama sun roofs. I've seen a couple of those documented in topics on FJCF and they look pretty good. One front and one in the back would be almost as good as taking the top off.

That's where I got the predator bars, they were $200 or so shipped to my door. I was just browsing a bit there earlier today.

They discontinued the blue last year so I'm really trying to take care of mine. I just put some of the predator bars on because my wife was complaining every time she climbed in.

There's nothing wrong with having fond feelings for someone you dated, there is something wrong with obsessing over them. Doubly so when it was your first. In this case, I would suggest cutting ties and moving on. You need to have other relationships and experiences in order to continue your personal growth. If you're not able to cope on your own, then give what Bigdmack suggested a shot. Just realize that very, very few relationships from that age last for very long. People change as they grow older and very few couples are able to change together, hence the growing apart thing most people go through.

It's amazing how much your skills erode when you don't get a chance to play very often.

A friend and former teammate hasn't been able to do much of anything for the last six months, when they found a blood clot in his leg. Tonight was the first time I had been on the ice with him in a year or more and set him up for his first goal since the clot was found. It wasn't a game, just a regular pickup group, but it was cool to put together a nice play.

I've driven 100+mph and I've driven when, in hindsight, I shouldn't have been behind the wheel. I've never done both at the same time, nor have I ever done so with others in the vehicle. If I was the one that crashed my car in similar circumstances, I would fully expect others to be critical of my actions.

None of the schedule changes I wanted were granted. So I'm still scheduled to work the holiday weekend and up until midnight friday for summer jam.

It should. There's a big difference between being a victim of a crash and being the cause of a crash.

Thanks to work, I am in the middle of a stretch where I miss three games followed by a bye week. My next game is two weeks from now.

The vast majority of D1 programs cheat, it's just a matter of how much they cheat and how much they flaunt it.
