  1. Thanks to work, I am in the middle of a stretch where I miss three games followed by a bye week. My next game is two weeks from now.
  2. Yep, it's on the page linked above here is the PDF. http://www.blackstonesport.com/FBV_Comparison_Chart.pdf It's pretty obvious what you need to change if you read the chart and that chart has been on their page for a while.
  3. 14 hour day, half of it on airplanes that were over 90 degrees and a medical emergency on top of it all. Been a really long day.
  4. Is this with action figures or just really small dudes?
  5. The vast majority of D1 programs cheat, it's just a matter of how much they cheat and how much they flaunt it.
  6. My Mesa has a "solo" switch and knob, step on the switch and the volume goes up (or down) based on how you have that knob set. I've also used an old digitech bifet preamp pedal, eq pedal or a tubescreamer knockoff for boosts. The switch on the amp is nice as it doesn't add in any noise and is just the same tone, just louder.
  7. To quote Geroge Carlin: I have as much authority as the pope, I just don't have as many people that believe it.
  8. A lot of my guys like 95/75. It's probably the easiest transition from half inch. Since I got that spinner, 3/4 of my FBV guys have switched to it.
  9. It may be the best four years of your life so far, but it shouldn't be the best four years of your entire life. Always strive to make the future better than the past.
  10. Sunny and 90 again here today in Aruba, I really don't want to come home
  11. I had one of the original v-twins (serial #50), fantastic pedal. I would prefer the rack mount to the pedal though as you get a full set of knobs for each channel.
  12. damn, some kids are way too sheltered these days
  13. I believe there is some diode clipping, like the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.
  14. Just got this email from the league admin. Hate to see things like this happen and all the more reason to wear a visor or cage. Obviously, I've removed the names to protect their privacy.
  15. I love goat palms, second only to the kangaroo palms for me.
  16. I've never heard a solid state pre-amp that has decent distorted tone. I had an old Music Man combo with SS-pre and tube power, but it only sounded decent with a tune preamp into the return of the effects loop. I have heard tube pre's with SS power amps that sounded great. Then again, a mesa triaxis sounds great with just about any type of power amp.
  17. The AVTs are much better than the original valvestate amps. I melted the power transistors in two rack amps and two 100w heads from the original series.
  18. I'm always on the lookout for a cheap one. I miss mine, it was a great car.
  19. I love the local rum, I brought back five bottles.
  20. I stayed at the one with the casino (not the time shares) last March, nice place. Best place to catch hockey, if you care, if Busters Garage. It's down in the buildings next to the Hard Rock, on the far end. If you have time, hit Wacky Wahoos for dinner. It's my favorite restaurant on the island and maybe 1/4 mile inland from Busters. Just past that, next to the Valero, is Linda's Pancakes and Pizza. Dutch pancakes are like crepes, great for breakfast or a light lunch. Fishes n More is another place we try to hit, food is good and service is usually excellent. It's a small place, next to Casa Tua and Salt and Pepper, just before you get to the Hard Rock on the main street. Casa Tua has great pizza by the way. Also a big fan of Dushi bagels and burgers for a quick lunch, it's across the street from Texas de Brazil and Sbarro. There's some great snorkeling about a mile up the road towards the lighthouse. Go early enough and you can see/swim with turtles. Once the boats get up there, forget about it. The natural bridge is a bit of a tourist trap, but the scenery on that side of the island is nice, very rugged. Get out and explore the island, the locals are pretty nice and it's not hard to get around if you can read a map at all. If the waves aren't bad sign up for one of the snorkeling trips to the Antilla, it's starting to collapse but you don't often see such a large shipwreck in relatively shallow waters.
  21. It always is. Where are you staying? I'll give you a list of places to hit.
  22. Ideally, you should be sharpening your skates before they lose their edge anyway. I do and never have to deal with the issue of going from dull to sharp edges that so many people complain about.
  23. They all look the same on the score sheet too.
  24. It's not Chicago that you need to worry about, it's Luongo.
