One of the last things my grandfather said to me when he was in the hospital is that he wanted me to have a couple specific guns from his collection. Someone in the family found out that they also happened to be among the most valuable in the collection and they're trying to convince me that he said something different. None of them are all that valuable, less than a grand or so each, it's just the thought that someone would try and do this that pisses me off. Just one more reason I spend as little time as possible with that part of my family.

I can't imagine why some people might be skeptical that a top level pad and a mid level pad from the same company are the same. CCM/RBK might have made a number of mistakes over the years, but that is not one of them. There are very significant differences. Most shin pads look roughly similar, the fact they're both white is irrelevant.

It has nothing to do with safety, it's just a money grab. I saw a recent study that showed accident rates were up at every one of the surveyed locations after cameras were installed.

Here's the encore from the show we saw on Friday. The Badlees are a local band that had a minor hit a number of years ago. Great bunch of guys that I got to know when they were just starting out. They invited the opening act and a friend that kills on harp to join them. Some of the older guys here may recognize the song.

Then you need to actively work on being more relaxed. Change habits, find things that calm you down or avoid being around the people that make you more hostile as much as possible. I used to be rage incarnate when I was in high school, I've mellowed quite a bit over the years, especially over the last couple. Some of it will happen with time, but you need to work on it as well.

Nice, I did that on a short four at home once. The only difference is that it skipped off the green and chased the group off the next tee box.

You're still only adjusting the height, not the pitch. As JR mentioned, no reason to touch the pitch knob at all. If you're changing hollows frequently the larger wheels on the standalone would be nice too.

I used to put a little lemon juice in my bottle. Just enough to add a little flavor and make them realize that it isn't just water. Of course, one jackwagon sprays himself in the face with it and wants to pick a fight with me over it.
