There's a big difference between being an old franchise in a major market and Bauer selling more skates on the open market.

Rolled my ankle yesterday at our team party and I'm having some problems getting around today. Wouldn't be too bad but we have a playoff game this week and even if I can skate by then, I'll be lucky to be back to 50-60%

I agree, that's why I didn't say that I hated him. Simply that I hated what he caused to happen in MLB. If it wasn't him, it would have been someone else eventually anyway.

I can still hate what he has done to baseball, even if he did good things for some people.

Who in the hell plays in a low level beer league to be an instigator? Had a guy on the other team tonight that yanked my stick out of my hands once, then tried to do it again later in the game. Hammered me with four or five cross checks and slashed me a few times, just for good measure. I eventually lost my cool and Bertuzzi'd him when he wouldn't let go of my stick for the third time.

I was in guitar center today and two kids were trying to figure out how to use the settings on an amp. When I heard "..I don't know, but this says metal" I knew it was time to leave. Just as I was getting in my car I heard ear piercing feedback, followed by really sloppy power chords.

Given all of the ice time I've missed since my concussion, not even a Rocky montage would get me in shape for that game. Embarrassing myself is a given at this point.

Initial schedules are out for next month and it looks like 18 days off and a paid trip to Hilton Head over the weekend of the fourth. Also got three days off leading into the MSH summer game.

It's actually a lot like hockey from about ten years ago. You could mug some people all the time and all people some of the time.

At what point did jumping directly into a stationary defender become a blocking foul? How do you know if a guy is a good ref or a bad one? They just seem to blow the whistle at random times and hand out free throws based on player names and time of game. Celtics had a really good lineup, but were really passive and shot from the outside almost exclusively. I would love to see KG be aggressive and take the ball to the net a lot more often instead of the fade-away almost every time he gets his hands on the ball.

Not in reference to recent posts in this topic, just in general. What the hell is wrong with people that almost every topic here ends up in an argument, fight or just ripping someone? We all have opinions, and you aren't going to convince everyone in the world to agree with you. Even if you're right. Accept the difference in opinion and don't make it so damn personal. And for the five or six members that always seem to be involved; lighten the hell up.
