Classic case of two wrongs don't make a right. Your buddy, especially being a bigger guy, shouldn't be playing physical in a pick-up game and the guy definitely shouldn't have cracked him like that.
-
That would be a shame for David. Talent gets you in the game but intensity and being able to play the coach's system is what keeps you on the team. Beer leagues are filled with talented guys who refused to buy into a total game. I hope Mr. Perron doesn't become one of them.
-
Wrong, don't do it until you know the guys and they know you. Friends are likely to pull some of that stuff on each other but if you aren't in that circle, play it clean.
-
I'd bet on that. Heck, there have been three Bruins alone who have switched from S17's to *ahem* One95's within the past month or so.
-
I've noticed XXXX's getting a little cheaper. My bet, as I said months back, is that there will be a new Vapor stick to go along with the super-secret new Vapor skate.
-
The reason no one is passing to you is because of you Italy jersey lol Always congratulate a goalie and tell him good game and stuff tap him on the pad and a good save during the game is nice, and don't be a thomas holmstrom lol. Leave it all on the ice, when I pay the man I go into the other dressing room and I will give everyone a "good game". Once more, don't be afraid to tell someone to get off the ice or to stop dicking around!! At pickup or shinny, nothing should happen that requires being "left on the ice".
-
Seriously?
-
Well, if you want to get technical, the original Lindros pattern was basically the PM9.
-
Cars should never have a guy's name, it is always a she.
-
Timing fits for the two year cycle. Vapor X:60's developed/tested in the pros this year, showing up with X:60 graphics in the spring, released retail next Oct/Nov.
-
My bet, if there is an X60 in the works or testing then there could be some masquerading at One95's. There were a lot more Vapor XXXX's last year than I'm seeing this year. That could be the reason.
-
Well, the Vapor XXXX stick has been out for a couple of years so I'm anticipating a Vapor X60 stick to be launched with the skate.
-
This line may never have been more apropos than right now............. "You see, these go to 11."
-
They got tangled up a little right before and then they both hit the ice. Erat might have caught him with the stick but I can't say for sure.
-
What was up with the rabbit punch on Erat Friday night?
-
Please don't let the toy drive motivation argument get started again.
-
And I've been rockin' a pro S9 helmet since February because of it. Win/win.
-
What? That thing sold tons of units and they were tanks. Yeah, I loved mine, I wish they still sold them. My wish is for the TriCore to make some kind of return. I loved the square shaft version.
-
Was the advantage of this handle obvious when you played goalie? Better control, and less chance of losing your stick when throwing out a poke check I suppose? The advantage is when a goalie lays his stick on the ice.
-
That would be the Harpoon Latch system. I just glued those blades in.
-
Numbers like that and he's not going to have to worry about Press Box time this year. Good job! Numbers alone don't keep you out of the press box, just ask Afinogenov.
-
I'm surprised that they've basically brought back the Triflex.
-
Poor taste comments? Like what? "Your algorithms suck."
-
Or he likes what he has seen in his play. I'm pretty sure Murray isn't caving in for all the critics, well, unless he is a member here.
-
Bad advice, get your bad advice here. Different brands come with different stock radii on their blades. To merely go with whatever comes on the skate is short changing yourself. But hey, maybe you're someone who can go from a 9' to an 11' foot radius without missing a beat.
